FOR THOSE MAKING CUSTOM EDITS TO EXECTBL.INI or any heavy modifications etc. to add support for whatever app.

if you are in the process of doing this now, stop and wait till the next update comes down the pipe. There are a lot of changes to how things work under the hood.
A full reinstall of the skin is HIGHLY recommended. Rename the old skin (dont delete it) and make your changes again instead of copying over older files. If you ignore this warning YOU WILL 100% HAVE PROBLEMS!!
things are setup differently for greater expandability and easier to add whatever applications you want to use.
Im adding mapmonkey and freedrive support now so those waiting for this your time has come.

ok, initial freedrive and mapmonkey support are added.

notes:

freedrive rocks

didnt give me any problems. I wont be switching from IG3 but hats off to CDRSkull. The default skin for freedrive dosent clash much with lsxvoid, so i wont be doing a skin for freedrive yet, that would prob push the update back at least a week. But everything looks good.

mapmonkey on the other hand, crashed my laptop 3 times in a row.
But not before i could set it all up. Unfortunately, i wont be testing it anymore for fear of it crashing my machine again. It seems to work (minus the crash). It embeds etc, etc. Note, the crashes happen when i run mapmonkey standalone and also inside RR. I think its *****ing cuz i dont have a gps device connected to my laptop, even gives me an error box. Freedrive dosent seem to care either way and thats how i like it.

so thats that.

I cant possibly add support for freedrive and mapmonkey on the same level as IG.
it simply takes too much time, plus i would have to actually use them day to day to make good choices, which isnt possible. And customizeing 3 gps apps is kind of overkill, for me at least. I can likely skin one of them, which at this point its likely going to be freedrive since i skined it in the past and its fairly easy from what i remember.
I looked at the old freedrive skin i made and its not suitable for use with lsxvoid so ill redo it based on the default skin/features in the latest version of freedrive. This will be a seperate update and it will be posted in the freedrive subform, not this thread.

ill try to post some screenies of freedrive later, mapmonkey too if it dont crash my comp.

the release is today.

i would do it right now, but there is a fairly lenghty writeup i have to do for it, write all the changes down, instructions etc and package everything up, unfortunately im not sure when ill be able to do it today.

For some reason i feel like im forgetting to do something.
But either way, i think ill upload what i got today. Just not sure what time, but its likely going to be late tonite.
But hopefully still early enough so people can set it up and use it for tomorrows commute
