Also, I dont know if this is normal or not. When RR first opens the avs window pops up in front of RR, and them imbeds. Is there a way to make it default to behind RR so I dont see it before it embeds? This is purly cosmetic.
this was left out of the read me by mistake, i posted about it a few pages back but even i dont want to search for it so i wont tell u to do that.
Load ArtRage standalone, change the paper color to black then save the file as "default.ptg" inside the install dir for ArtRage. That will fix the error about opening the requested file. This is done so it fits in better with the look of the skin, plus the bright white blinds me at night. If you dont want to do this, or want the paper color to be white. Open ExecTBL.ini found inside the skins folder, find the line that starts with "PAINT" and edit it to look like this
Code:
"PAINT","LOAD;paint.skin;RUN;C:\Program Files\Ambient Design\ArtRage 2\ArtRage.exe;ArtRage"
As for the avs window poping up in front of RR before it embeds, this is normal behavior and only guino can change this. What you can do though...
Winamp by default allways opens the vis window in the last postion you physically moved it to with your mouse. On your desktop if you open winamp stand alone, start the vis and move the window far outside of the RR window, close winamp and start RR, then the vis will allways open up first offscreen then just show up in RR nicely.
Problem is, it'll be pretty hard to move the window off screen in your car.
What you could try is set the windows relsolution to something higher than whatever res your using, then move it as far off to the side as possible. Change the res back and hope that winamp dosent notice the window is offscreen and move it somewhere else.
