LSX (VOID) released

I just decided to switch to this skin from the LSX skin a few days ago. Perhaps the next update will fix some of my issues but....

First off, I am using iGuidance 2.1 Of course this ExecTBL.ini is set for 3.0
I made the appropriate changes but it still wasn't working. It couldn't load iguidanceUMCP.exe I believe it was. From what I've read I thought this was an iGuidance 3 file anyway and shouldn't have been in the startup file for 2.1 So I just copied the startup file from my old LSTOOLS folder into SB2.9 and it seems to work with this exception, the file bar is showing and the speed box is hidden under the ATT button.

I didn't see anyone else on this thread reporting a similar problem and in fact it seems like most people have switched to iGuidance 3. So that leaves me with these questions:

What should I do to rid myself of the file bar?
Is iGuidance 3 so bad *** that I should just switch?
What are the plans concerning updates since you can no longer edit the posts? Will there be a Liquid Smoke website or will the updates just be placed inside the thread?

Keep up the good work and happy birthday. I'm not sure how 40 mph over constitutes a warning but congrats on that!!

IG2 support is still available in the current release, it just requires a bit of editing where the other gps options dont as much. I think the only real thing you need to change is the file name to IG (remove the UMPC) as everything else is the same. But there are also 2 sets of IG scripts used based on which version your using because of the new stuff in IG3.
This will be fixed up in the next update.

When you run skinbedder standalone does IG2 embed correctly?
If your seeing the file menu and the status bar at the bottom it sounds like your not using skinbedder. Im not even sure right now how things were setup in the old LSX skin (which needs a serious update).
What files did you copy from LSX to LSXVOID, was it just that startup.exe file?

As for updates, they will still be located on the first post in this thread. Editing old post was turned back on.

IG3 is definately better than IG2, so i would update.

Yeah, I should of gotten a ticket for sure, esp after seen so many people walking lines last night. But i used to allways just hear about other people getting warnings for this, warnings for that and allways wondered why. Still dont know why, just glad i finally got one

Is there a way in the playlist section to have ARTIST-TITLE instead of just TITLE? I have my RR.INI set as %artist%-%title%. Also, how do I change km/h to mph?

for the playlist problem, make sure you have Show ID3 Playlist checked.

for the mph setting, in the rrconfig, go to the gps section and uncheck "International Standard Units"

its kind of redundant in the playlist editor since your browseing your entire library, but there is a tag there, not sure if its for artist,album, or track or any mixture of the three. What i have local is set for artist only but i can add the others.

its comeing along good in my head, not so much in reality. Ive been making a lot of small changes to the night ver so im shy about diveing deep into the day without locking down the night ver as it wont just be a color theme change.

i could live with it looking like lsx void but with the colors inverted. I love the way void works, and im used to everything exactly how it is. having it be the same but white would be awesome. so when it switched skin everything would be in the same place etc etc. it can even use the same tools, so 1 update would cover both your day and night skins!!! think about it !!! Half the work, Twice the fun!!!! lol.

just a thought.
