Ok, after my 200 miles trip today I have some stuff to report on.

1- Is it easy to change the font colors for the tracks and highlighted track, especially on the main skin? (I've never made a skin so I'm not sure) Reason is, the red text on the dark background is hard to read in the day. 2- I was having difficulty with the VIS OPT functionality. I tried changing to the small vis screen and some other options but it didn't change anything. I may have broken something which caused this to happen because I editted menu.skin's 3rd line to use the no album art background:
menu_alt_noAA_off.jpg,menu_alt_noAA_off.jpg,menu_a lt_on.jpg,menu_alt_on.jpg
Could this have broken the VIS OPT functionality?

3- In the previous version of the skin, I was able to get the XM channel logos on pages 1 and 2 and the track listing on the bottom between the volume buttons. Now, I get nothing except the channel name at the top right. Is this related to item #2 with the larger viz screens or something else?

4- A few days ago I told you about the << and >> issue in the main screen with an XM favorite playlist where I would have the XM Favorites list selected but the main screen would scan through all the channels. I have the same problem on the GPS screen. (It works fine on the main screen, thanks!)

5- On the GPS screens, sometimes when I am playing with the GPS program (either MM or iG) the XM channel changes. It's almost like the XM skin underneath is acting on the areas I am pressing in the GPS area.

Either way, the 200 mile trip went alot smoother thanks to your skin and guino's amazing work on RR. Thanks!!!

Anyone know how the multiquote works? Nothing happens when i click it.

1.Yeah this is easy to change, i think the problem is i removed the selection bar so now the selected text is directly on the background. I havnt done much daytime testing so it prob is hard to read it during the day. I have nice dark tint in my car so I use this version fulltime. Ill prob add the selection bar back and tweak the text color.

2. I wouldnt edit any of the screens then use the vis opt to switch to another screen your changes will be in the wrong file. What happens when you click the different options is a script i wrote that does a file copy from the LSTOOLS folder and into the skins folder, then reloads RR. I tested this on a two machines and it worked fine.
None of them contain menu changes though,
Small Vis will simply change the vis size to be small.
BIG VIS opt1 (default) is the default with big vis
BIG VIS opt2 is the same as BIG VIS opt1 except it also has a slightly different image screen. Very slightly.
BIG VIS w LOGO is the big vis but instead of album art it has a flash logo clock
So when you edited menu.skin it could of been either of these, since the file get overwritten when you pick the options.
To test i would go into the LSTOOLS/ALT folder and manualy copy/paste the .skin file that you want into the skins folder and see if the changes work.
And or reinstall the patch.

3. That stuff was removed. I didnt feel it was needed to have the album art on all 3 pages etc. I can add those things back in and make it an option if people want that.

4.This is odd to me because i didnt do anything to fix it on the main screen. All three of these screens, (main, xm and gps) all have the exact same code for the music navigation. Did you change RR version inbetween the updates by any chance? Ill have to drop guino a line and see how its supposed to work there may be a bug in RR related to this. I dont have any radio hardware so its difficult for me to test it or even know if its working correctly.

5.Thats really odd. I think it may even be related to #4
are you using the quick menu to load gps after you load xm?

I think a day skin is definitely needed for this skin. It's perfect in at night but during the day it can be a bit hard to see. I have to agree the white is defintely a lot better than the red but then it looks great at night.

There is a day verion in the works, actually got a bit of work done on it last night.

You can use multiquote to quote multiple messages in one post. You click the multiquote button on one message and again on the next message and on the last message you click the regular quote button. Now you have quoted all the messages together.

Yeah I think I messed it all up by editing the menu.skin and ExecTBL.ini. I tried it on a fresh install of RR and the skin and it works fine.
