Blue Devil Skin RELEASED

There has been some discussion in the forums about playlists for video's, but the simple answer for now is no. I'm sure there are ways to TRY to do something like that, but it certainly would not be easy.

As for playlists, I should have the latest version of the skin up tonight, (EDIT: Sorry it has been delayed due to a code problem I am working on) and it will make managing them simple. You can create, rename, delete, add songs to existing ones, or add new ones VERY easily.

BTW, check your other post, I replied in there as well.

As for the color, i certainly did notice that in the capture you posted a page or so back. The Orange Matrix looking screen saver you had on the screen in one of your shots on the project page is perfect!

Keep an eye on the development of the skin a few posts back. That red skin, looks like it will just be a different graphical interface for the Blue Devil skin, and it looks very nice! Hehehe he does have his work cut out for him, as there are SO many screens in the Blue Devil skin to duplicate!

so JohnWPB, the newest verison 10-22, has an auto On/Off button for iG is that for the auto switching? and if so it wasnt working for me when i just ran it, i posted by experinces in that thread. if it is not for what i thought it was, what is it for?
and are you "supporting" the work by matrix, because i know you were trying to use autoIT instead of whatever way he is doing. and the shuffle icon is a little messed up on my display it cuts off like 10% of it on the left everytime. not sure if its me. i cant wait for the new playlist implementation.

Yea, that AUTO button is not fully working as of yet, sorry... I will be using Matrix's code, as that will be built into RR and no external script/program is needed to run. He was just stalled for so long, that I decided to try to work on it, and a few hours later he announced his was working

Not sure about the shuffle and repeat, they are displaying correctly here, any one else having a problem with that?

The playlist implementation is just waiting for me to figgure out how to do 2 last things. Learning RR's code, is a challenge, as it is not the best doccumented code out there. The skincommands.txt is invaluable, but there are more complicated things that are just not real clear.
WIll be a couple days at least before this is ready for me to post. Hopefully I will have the iGAuto thing ironed as well.

How do i replace the oscilloscope on the main player "eye candy" screen with a visualization?

You press the "visualize" button on the bottom (???). If it doesn't work then go in to RRConfig and/or WinAmp vis plugin config and make sure it is setup right.

I know that part works fine but I want the visualization embedded in the skin. Also JohnWPB says you can embed your GPS there as well. If you click on the link in my first post you will see what i am talking about.

yea thats another issue i have having. well not really an issue but a annoying fact. It could be that i am runing winamp 5. but the when the visualzation run, i see the outline of the window playing so its not really embeeded and that can mess up by going into background after coming out of the main GPS screen. think its a setting i missed or a winamp 5 issue?

Oh also, a suggestion on the first page the link says 10-13 even though it goes to same spot, i would either update that or have it say download here.

I am running the latest version (and I love it). However I tried out the new flash GPS graphs last night and they were not working as planned. The Compass and Sats worked, but the Speedo just kept ticking around. At first it did this when I went to the screen before the GPS located any SATs so I thought it was programmed to just slowly ramp up... then when it did lock it would show the correct speed and the compass worked, but the speedo gauge itself did not represent the correct speed. I left the screen and returned to the same problem.

Anyone else see this? Sorry if this is not a complete test. I will test it again tomorrow and not run it until I have a lock just in case thats it.

RREarth skin is great! I do have a prob. with it loading behind GE however, but that may be RREarth integraiton problem and not the skin, still need to test that.

BTW JOhn, this is exactly what i was asking for. The visualization. Now, as you mentioned earlier about the matrix, can i embed the screensaver of windows into the "visualization" part of Blue Devil?

Are these utilities controlled by iGuidance or some other program? they don't work for me.

As for RREarth, haven't tried it yet but will.

Hey John, are you labeling your updates on BlueDevil as you go along? I'm not sure which "version (latest update)" i have anymore. LOL - What i've been doing is renaming the old version with a date..... heeee
