ok peeps....almost done with the red/murdock version of this (keep in mind the function is the same the colors are different, see post #305). while i was in there i started a Lincoln6Echo version of this.....irobot textures, very 'day skin' mostly white.

i've been so busy at work haven't had time to check out this thread, but here i am,

che, you doing a helluva job!!! John's right, you will make me a very happy person. i love blue devil skin - it's my favorite skin so far.

i look forward to the reddish one - BTW,in post #306, i do like the first one myself....

a couple of things john,

--- i couldn't follow instructions on how to set up the weather for my local area. lord knows you gave good instructions. i will give it another go later.
--- i did notice that while i'm in music, it won't let me go to GPS.
--- i also noted that when the winamp visualization comes on (very cool), i cannot touch the screen to go back - it just stays in the visualization until i hit esc key on the keyboard (sounds like a function of winamp huh?)
--- i have a usb camera which i want to access from RR, but there's no button for this. What i got to thinking is can i add it under utilities? i would like the ability to record and take pics though under RR....

i'm going to download the latest version right now and update tomorrow.

The easiest way to put your local city in, is to just press and hold one of the 5 buttons at the top of the weather screen, and type the name of the city in the OSK. If you have multiple cities up there, the last one selected will be the one that loads automatically next time RR is fired up.

What GPS program are you using?

It sounds like you dont have the visulization imbeded correctly, it is covering the whole screen? If so you should be able to double tap it to make it smaller sometimes. If it is full screen, check out the help file in the latest version in the first post, it gives a pretty good walkthrough of how to set it up correctly.

That is someting I want to add to the skin for sure, I have one application I have been looking at the embeds very nicely into Road Runner. More on this soon I hope

Well, I stand corrected! It IS a skin issue, by bad guys. I have included the labels on the main menu skins now, so the information in the clocks will work. It will be in the next update.

Also for you iGuidance users out there, I just ran across something I did not know. If it is taking a long time for iGuidance to get a lock, or it isn't tracking correctly, iGuidance seems to prefer the RAW Gps date instead of NMEA. If you are using a port splitter, give those settings a try, as it certainly cleared up a lot of issues here for me!
