According to legend (heehee) i'm suppose to go to RRConfig.exe and under GPS put under City "New York" - i do and save the file. When i go back to the file the city is not there. Unless i'm suppose to put "New York, NY" city AND state??

Also, when i press one of the 5 buttons at the top of the screen as you mentioned, nothing happens.

To be sure i grabbed the latest RoadRunner release 10-08-06 (i think).

now,

Some questions:
-- When I press the GPS button on the main screen I don't get the gps program to start (at all), however it starts fine when I go into music and then select gps -- What am I messing up?

-- How does one add Favorites/POI's within BD (for IGuidance)?

-- Does S/PDIF work with the equalizer?

-- The flash objects (in the center) seem to be leading to "overrun" errors (all, but the default one that is).

-- Where do the .ini file go to change the look of IGuidance?

Again, I would like to comment on how BEAUTIFUL Blue Devil really is....

Thanks for the compliments!

1) Sounds like you do not have GPS set up correctly in the Road RUnner Config utility. Run that, and go to the GPS section, and put the path to iGuidance and the witdow title 'iGuidance". The Audio player screen has that path built into the button, thats why it is working from that screen.

2) You can either press the menu button and browse to favorites, press the top right arrow and go into favorites, ect. As for POI, pressing the POI button will toggle them on and off. You can set what POI's are displayed in the iGuidance setup, by selecting menu, settings, display options, and custom.

3) I am not sure what you mean by "overrun errors".

4) Place the theme.ini file in the root directory of iGuidance. If one is there already, back it up so you can switch back if you want to later.

iam new to the scene , i love the blue devil and all is working fine but... the gps stats. what ALL is needed to get this to work. i have the delorme usb gps with the usb to com port program running in order to make the ig3 work, just need help with e gps stats. thanks in advance. do i need xport3 or something? i see no menus or areas for setting any kinda of settings to get it to work.

As this is your very fist post, Welcome to the forums! You might want to search and see if you can find an answer to your solution first though

If you are using the Delorme serial emulator, that has the icon in the system tray, open that, and set one virtual com port for use with Iguidance, and one for Road Runnner. Then you need to go into Road Runner config and set the com port in there. The gauges use the same port that RR is using.

I have a couple of questions about using iGuidance in this skin.

1. In iGuidance options whenever I try to change one of the settings I get a message that the necessary vbs file hasn't been found in the specified directory notwithstanding that the files appear to be in the correct location (see attached graphics).

2. What does the balloon button (like someone's talking in a cartoon) on the right hand side do?

3. What does the auto config button do? I know it brings up the iGuidance options screen, but sometimes it has the word "on" in red just below it and I'm not sure what that means.

Okay, I found that one. My RR directory was named "RoadRunner" (no space between) instead of "Road Runner."

Found that one in the help file (which is very helpful), though I'm still not sure what the red "on" button means.

One other issue I've seen: I really like the XM screen showing the favorites icons. The problem is that even though I can get to the screen and see the icons, clicking on the icons does not change the station.

I have my GPS using COM 2, GPSGATE or Xport sents to com 6. I set RR to COM 6 and IG to COM2

iam using the delorme serial emu also and i get the 20mph difference too. i have the com2 as the gps and com5 for the gps stats in rr. the compass is also not working, should i try xport instead of delorme. i love this ***** and wish to get it working to its full potential. Blue Devil Rocks, looks awesome with the corvette logo

I am wondering about the little red on indicator on the autoconfig button as well. Currently my music does not pause when iGuidance speaks. However, I do get the ding sound. What should the setting be in rr config in regards to lowering the music volume in order to use the pause function in autoconfig?
