THANK YOU!!!! I know it had to be somewhere, and I just overlooked it and did not see it. I have had questions from MANY people asking whey the speedometer was "off by 20MPH or so".
SO to sum it it up:
Open RR config, and click the GPS tab. On the very bottom of that section, where it says "International Standard Units" Check mark this box to use KPH, and uncheck it to use MPH. I have added this info to the help file.
Nice bug fix :)
Ok, in the next release I have done some re-working of the audio screens. This has bee with time and testing in the car, and trying to make things easier to use and of course easier to read.
On the audio browser screen, I made the album art smaller, and moved two of the buttons from the left, to below the other buttons. This made room to make the list wider, and easier to read.
On the Full Player screen, I made the "Static Oscilliscope" image area, to now show the album cover. Thanks to Arsalan for that suggestion! After doing this i realized there was some empty room to take advantage of :) I added a few more functions/buttons as well as detailed information on the currently playing track.
Here are a couple of screen shots: (This should be released in the next few days)

Nice, John! I especially like the album cover in the oscilliscope area.
Very very hot!
Hey John,
I'm about to redo my car pc and will be getting back on track as soon as i'm done. I don't know if this is a known issue but my windows XP is slowly deteriorating. It gets quirkier and quirkier everyday. I have 3 notions on what it could be.
1. My powersupply is not strong enough to power my motherboard, hard drive, and a dozen usb attached devices LOL
2. My motherboard is shot - i may have shortcircuited during initial installation.
3. i have a virus.
So i took the first 2 and ran with that. I got a case for the computer and i got a new motherboard as well as an additional power supply strictly for the USB powered hubs.
Hopefully this weekend i will have everything complete. Afterwards i will reinstall RR and Blue Devil and be back in business.
I know you wanted to help me with a couple of questions on Weather and will get back to that afterwards.
As for the donations, no, no, no.......thank you!
I'm Javier, BTW
I figured out what was going on with the GPS Menu button. I remember playing around with the pc display settings and realized I had the fonts selected to show as "Large Fonts". I switched it back and everything is perfect again :)
On a side note:
I was trying to play my videos and they wouldn't load up. I tried with another skin and they played just fine.
When viewing my pictures I have to click the next button several times before it will advance to the next photo.
I've noticed another issue. When I load the browser the weather controls appear at the bottom. This pushes the browser up and obscures the OSK and other browser controls. I've tried it with both IE anf FF and the same thing occurs. Anybody else have this problem? (I'll try to post a screenshot later.)
Update: I'm thinking it might have something to do with the weather maps because I can no longer get them to load.
Well, Javier, THANK YOU, post 494 has been updated :)
Ok now THAT is strange! The videos are played with what you have set in RR's configuration. This is totally independent of what skin is used, so I am at a total loss to figure out what happened....
As for the photo's, I am batting zero here, as I can't duplicate that problem here.

OOOOOooops!!!!! That is totally MY bad! I was working on the animated weather image thing, and must have left my button code in there on accident when I packaged up the latest release.
Ok, I just looked, and I did remember to switch the button code before zipping up the release, HOWEVER I forgot to put the regular webbrowser.skin back into place. It will be fixed in the next release.
In the mean time, go to the \Blue Devil\WebTemp\Browser directory, and copy the webbrowser.skin into the root of the blue devil skin. This will get you back to normal.
Sorry for the mix-up! This type of stuff always seems to happen when sharing a work in progress! I have to continually think of stuff that I am working on when I do a release, to TRY to avoid stuff like this from happening.:nutz:
