I like being able to pull the gps in on the player screen a lot. It would be great if it was an option to configure it so it always came up instead of the oscilloscope. Would that just be a matter of reconfiguring the main menu button to go straight to the gps enabled player menu and the return button to take you back to the main menu?

Are you planning to reshack out the menu button in iG3? If so, having the GPS there, you also need access to some of the gps buttons, or at least a shortcut back to the iG3 screen. Having to go back through the main menu to make a route adjustment is pretty cumbersome.

But boy is it awesome to have these details to talk about. Thanks for the great work.

TimyM: I know what you mean, about not having all the controls on the "Playlist screen". on a 7" monitor, it is so hard to get all the control i would LIKE to have on the screen. I could remove the album art from the playlist screen, and make room for more buttons. Let me know what you guys think about this. Honestly it is more important to have the album covers show on the browse screen when you are selecting music, but not really neccessary on the playlist screen.

kolemieux: I just now placed the skins available for download in the first post for the IGQwerty Keyboard. Those are the ones that match the Blue Devil skin.

mthespian: I will work on having the GPS come up automatically on that screen when loaded. I will also see about adding a few GPS buttons to control major functions. WIll tinker with it a bit here, and see what I can come up with.

so john is there any way to modify the clock.swf flash animation, so that it displays the mitsubishi.swf file centered instead of the blue mitsubishi logo??

Nope - unless I am nuts the files in that ZIP are the ones that you show in your example. Test the ZIP. I don't think I am losing it but u can never tell....

Yea... ya MAY be losin it man! Heheheh I just downloaded the ones in LostReceptions post#2, and they are the default skins to match an unaltered iG keyboard colors ect.

Glad you got em though. I have one small issue with the KB I need to fix. The text lable at the top (ENter City, Enter Street Name) ect, is not showing correctly. Will have that fixed in the next day or so.

I'm giving blue devil a try and so far it's looking very nice.
A couple of questions/suggestions... (don't we all have them?

The next song/prev song button moves around the interface depending on which screen you're on.. Makes it trickier to change songs while driving as you have to look away from the road to figure out which screen you're on and where the next song button is hiding.
Where is the playlist save button? I've been punching most every button and can't seen to find it.
How do I minimize RR? I have it set to eat my taskbar while in use and if I have to head to the desktop for whatever reason I have to exit RR in order to do that.
Does the Clear Cue button have a purpose in the playlist pane? It does work well as a 'make the car quiet' button.

Once that button is pressed you have to head to the browser pane in order to add more music anyway and that also has a Clear Cue button.
How do I get random working?

I think that's enough for now.

Unfortunately, no. The logo in the center is a standard png that is being "pulled" by the SWF clock. At the moment, unfortunately, is is one or the other.

Ok, that is something I will have to look into, I know it's kind of a pain at times. It's just a matter of some screen require more/less buttons at the bottom, and balancing that with trying to have fundemental controls on all screens. I will see what I can come up with

You can't find the save playlist button, because I forgot it!

hehe silence the car button LOL! Good one, well with the two above comments/questions, it was an obvious fix. The "Clear Cue" is now replaced by a "Save Playlist button" on the playlist screen. Right above it a "Load Playlist" button has been created where the "repeat" function was located.

How do I get random working?

Currently, there appears to be a problem with Road Runner toggling the names correctly in the playlist screen. It works perfectly in the browser. With this being the case, I replaced the 'Toggle" button on the Playlist screen with a "Shuffle" button.

All of these updates, plus other issues since post #55 are now available in the latest download in the first post of this thread.

A couple of curiosities/comments..
The load playlist button doesn't seem to do anything (other than click in a satisfying way

And I think you were a little inaccurate in your statement that you changed the 'toggle name' button with a shuffle button. You changed function of the button but left it very stealthily named 'Toggle Names'

And I'll happily keep the bug/suggestions coming, it's a great skin!
