Some of the new features in the Blue Devil skin REQUIRE the 11/25/06 or later version of Road Runner to work. You can download the latest version which is Road Runner 11/25/06

iGuidance theme.ini to make iGuidance resemble Google Maps. This is well commented, and is a good start to creating your own color combinations for roads, parks, street colors and width ect. Simply put the file in your iGuidance directory for it to work.

2.1 Additions & Fixes 11/22/06

Re-did the Mixer screen to make the current level indicator that is selected "glow" as well as adding buttons/indicators to mute certain Line In's and Winamp's Pre-Amp.
Created a new options screen to control Auto Volume based on your GPS current speed. (Located on the Settings menu (Replaced "Network Settings" button)
Set up the skin to use a new AVS plugin that displays a bar graph EQ over the top of the current Album Cover Art on the "Player" skin. This will take some configuration on your part, see the help file for instructions.
I inadvertently removed the "Online" indicator from the menu screens in the last version, it is now back in place.

My First and Foremost goal, was to make this skin VERY easy to navigate, with all buttons large enough to easily press. Many skins look stunning, and include a lot of options/functionality, but can often be hard to use on a 7" touchscreen (ESPECIALLY while driving.... but who uses the car computer when driving anyways?

) I know this will limit how much I can fit on one screen, and I will have to work with that.

Another goal, is to have it VERY easy to understand, so anyone can use it, and not have to explain what the little button with the strange symbol on the audio browser does for example. With my last skin, I found I was the only person who could use it easily without giving a lesson in it's use first!

The The Blue Devil Skin includes the Following Software / Hardware skins:

- iGuidance Native Support with Widescreen and Tall screen skins
- iGuidance "Pop-Up Menu" that allows FULL control of all features of iGuidance 3.0 UMPC with custom written scripts to do so.
- iGuidance Auto Switching and audio control options screen
- GPS Speed Volume screen to control all features to increase / decrease the volume of your system based on the your speed, (reported by the GPS device)
- Skinned iGuidance QWERTY Keyboard LostReception created a QWERTY Keyboard to replace the alphabetical one in iGuidance 3.0! You can download the plugin from THIS THREAD
Once you install it, you can replace the default images with the ones in the following .zip file: IGQwertyBlueDevilSkins.zip
Just place the 2 Bmp's in the above zip in the SAME folder with the IGQwerty executable, and it will use the new images instead of the built in default ones.

1) Audio browser screen, (With buttons to jump alphabetically through the list) I have over 900 CD's ripped to the drive, and scrolling is NOT an option!

3) And lastly a full screen music screen, Minus the playlist/browser lists, and with all pertinent song information, Play controls, with Album Art display, and large Visulization. This will be a nice screen to leave on while the music is playing. This is just an additional screen that is not NEEDED, but simply to implement some eye candy. All 3 screens are cross linked. GPS can also replace the "Visulization area" of the skin to have your GPS application embeded into the Audio Player screen.

Clock Logo's to match the Blue Devil Skin:

I have started to create a few logo's based on requests in this thread, and PM's. They are available below. IMPORTANT! When viewing the logo's on Flcikr, click the image you want to have, then above the image choose "All Sizes". This will then display the correct .PNG image to download. If you right click and choose save, and it shows .jpg as the extension, you did not click the "ALL SIZES" above the preview image.

To use the logo as your clock image, simply rename the image your download to "BDLogo". Then just copy that image to the Blue Devil skin folder, overwriting the one that is in there. Then remove all the other mitsubishi logo's in the directory. If you want to create a smaller logo to show up on the clock, compass, or speedometer, you can replace the smaller mitsubishi logo's with ones of your choice. I will try to keep up with the main logo's as I get requests, but will not be creating all the smaller logo's for the speedo, compass and clock. Sorry, but I just don't have enought time on my hands to create 4 logo's for each and every vehicle out there

If you do not see a logo for your vehicle, Send me as high of a resolution image as you can, and I will try to put it together for you as time permits. You can email at my gmail.com account with the same nick as I use here on the board (Don't want to spell it out due to spam bots).

I most definately will release the PSD's

I could see the color request up to page 13 in this thread! hahaha (sorry but blue just happens to be my favorite color, and matches the custom back glow gauges I installed)

I have downloaded skins in the past that I wanted to change something, and it was virtually impossible, ESPECIALLY when gradiants are used!m and you cant find enough "blank button area" to clone..

Here's the Gauges on the dash, the A/C panel in the center matches the gauges. Thus the "Blue Devil" skin. I haven't used the red that's in the dash gauges, as it just dosen't look good anywhere on the skin.

Hey!! I was in the Blue Devils Drum corps and when I saw this thread I was thinking it was either going to be about that or the basketball team.

I like the color scheme the way it is. It really makes the text/icons and the clock pop out at you.

Also, It looks like you are placing the menu bars and buttons by eye. You may already know this but if you press CTRL+R it will activate the "rulers" feature. Then you can drag rulers into place and set your layers to "snap" to the rulers by going to View->Snap.

Can't wait to see some more screens!

Yes, I have been using the rulers and snap to grid actually, but the buttons at the bottom of the main screen were ticking me off! I would move the ruler 1/10th of an inch at a time and try to space them perfectly left to right.. I should have broken down and divided up the 11" / (n) number of buttons to work it out to the 10th of an inch, but was just too lazy and I just moved on...

I will go back and fix em here before it is released.

As for the colors, I have this thing for blue, what can I say? hehehe BUT the advantage is with the contrast, and the darker background, the screens will be readable in the daytime, and not blind you at night.

EDIT: ALL Spacing has now been corrected, and everything throughout the skin is alligned / centered

HERE ARE THE GAUGES that I pirchased on Ebay about a year ago. They meke them for just about any car out there.

It's VERY hard to get a photo of what they actually look like at night. By day the gauges look just plain white with dark numbers ect. At night the only part of the gauges that are lit, are the numbers themselves. Taking a phto of them makes it look like the entire gauge is illuminated, as the camera takes a long exposure shot. They look much better in real life than any photo I have seen.
