First let me say that it's amazing what you do, i myself can't begin to understand the coding behind making your skin look and work so good

I'm pretty sure many of us would have been jumping for joy if those diffrent colors (as in that post i quoted) had been released; instead, you are working hard to implement transperancies and different backrounds that i suspect is much more difficult to code.

For such a great skin like this one, maybe the KISS principal is the way to go.

Make different colors is a simple set of action I have to do, but I need a solid set of pictures to start from, If I make different colors set and then want to add transparency I have to redo it again...

However, I find the Image Viewer 3 a little difficult to use especially with image path pointing to DVD drive. It just doesn't work. How hard would it be to modify picture.skin to use picture viewer built into RR itself? You must have considered this option when choosing picture viewer, can you share your reasons not to do it? And by that I don't want to disrespect your decision at all.

When I choose ImageViewer, picture viewer was not developped at the actual state, it was just at the beginning...
...I think it's not so difficult to adapt .skin to work with it, and I think I'll do it in future...but I have first to finish the first version of the skin..

looks awesome, i like the option of changing the colors of the skin. that would be great.


i have a couple questions though. when i go into tools and try and launch the browser, phone, picture, or camera, i cant get anything to load. i set the path to firefox in config, but it still isnt loading. i couldn't find anywhere to set a path for pictures either. its not too important, i'm just testing rr out before i put the carputer together.

The yellow and red box area doesn't looks transparent....not the same as the clock area.

Do you have image_viewer 3 embedded. You change the image path there. For phone currently crystalblue only have phoco skin available, you'll need to have it in the crystalblue skin folder.
