Hi Dalailama,

After I update with all the patch you posted, I came across these problems:

1. I am not able to use cdrip, it was working ok before the update that enables us to change button functions in menu. Now after i added this line:
"CDRIP","PLUGIN;RRCDRIP;C:\Program Files\Road Runner\CDRip\cdrip.exe in exectbl, I am able to start cdrip as normal. When I try to enter the album, artist and genre... RR is gone. I am only able to open it in windows task manager and close it from there. Do you know what is going on?

2. Another thing I noticed is the rest of the buttons like web, launch and camera all lead to music page. How do I change all this as I am puzzled with the new .skin files and the exectbl.

1-This may happen if wait.skin is missing, or the CDRIP skin files are missing.

2-If the button is not directly on the .skin file, check for INC definitions in the .skin file, then look in those files. If the skin has Flash, then it may be in the flash object, and you'd have to edit exectbl.

Those are just suggestions, but do wait to see what Dalailama says.

I really like the skin but I fail to update it! I understood that I have to change rr.ехе file for the file from archive, to write the line in rr.ini. I understood that it’s necessary to change Programmi for the Program files. But I didn’t catch the idea what to do with REGSVR32.EXE…. Suppose I made everything needed but it doesn’t work!! Please advise what I have to do with that!!!

Concerning REGSVR32.EXE: I copied this file to the directory RR and copied there REGSVR32.EXE. Made the *.bat file with the line REGSVR32.EXE /GDIPlusWrapper.dll. While running there was a message to write the command with this file as far as I understood, so I made it this way - REGSVR32.EXE /i /GDIPlusWrapper.dll. But there were no changes at all.
Then I remembered that maybe I didn’t install flash player… installed the version 33 or 32 I don’t remember exactly… As the result, the program doesn’t operate at all! Writes the mistake that it can’t run the skin.

When approximately can we wait for the full release with the patch?

Have you added the following to rr.ini?

fastmode=-1
picspath=<path to where backgrounds are>

1) yes...in the end of the file...
2) no i did't know about it... i try but i think it will not help...Where is it needs to be made...

if you have fastmode=-1 you may not have registered GDIPlusWrapper.dll (regsvr32 gdipluswrapper.dll), then try again.

Hi there,

I have a problem with your skin. It restarts my computer dead just after trying to load the player. I have re-installed RR without any of my addons (Phoco, Voice Control, Music by Genre) and it now works ok. I'm going to debug it tomorrow, it's getting late now.

1 thing I must say it I agree with everyone else here, I love this skin, its professional, clean and clear. I'd have the fonts a little bigger in the audio browser, but hey its no big deal.

Secondly, and I don't want to step on Hitmans toes but, this is obviously a popular skin and I think it deserves a proper website, FAQ's, Downloads, Instructions, Contacts. etc

I have space and I'm willing to donate it if you have the time to help put some proper pages together.

All the buttons on the TOOLS page point to MUSIC. Looking through all the .skin files and can't seem to find where they get their direction.

I'm also at a loss to get DVD working. This must be an RR issue. I've been reading through all the RR DVD threads but can't seem to figure this out. If anyone else has been down this path, I'd appreciate some direction.

I'll keep at it! Great work here D. I lurked here for about six months before deciding you had the best looking skin. In fact, I settled on RR due to your work.
