ok.. when i press gps, it loads external skin and launches ig4. Ig4 runs as i see on the task bar but I don't see ig4 in the skin. I think someone had a same problem before. I checked rr setting... ig native= true... external option set... path to ig is correct. it embeds fine with other skins, so i know setting is cool...

I did some testing.. i copied other ext. screen file from other skin and modified exe_tbl.ini...

This does the embedding fine with that skin....

external_gps.skin has a "C" line in it - DELETE it (the "C" line ofcourse!)

...why remove the crop?
...anyway trying is no cost!

cool... saved me again. treetop.. yeah.. looks like it loaded ok, then cropped the map afterward.. ^^ so, it needs to be removed... man.. this skin looks amazing.. I am getting surprised everyday... ^^

brandesin, I don't have ig... let me know what is ig quick button...

ok... it's basically a list of buttons for quick access of ig functionalty...

Saves time with a single click rather than 3 or 4 clicks to get what you want..

example with this which i got it from another great artist, gf-ler,

if you click 3D button, map will display in 3D.. click again back to 2D.
+ = zoom in
- = zoon out...
gas = gas finder..

and so on.....

i tried to match the color as best i can, but i ain't no graphic artist
Plus, even i come up with perfect color, it will not fit in with your theme..

If i may speak for many, most of us use RR for 3 main things, GPS, music, video.. maybe radio.... Rest are cool toys for pleasure.. And there are signicant number of IG users according to the poll in dfx thread.. So, accomodating this would mean a lot for those Ig users...

Just my little wish, i can live without it.. ^^ Just patch here and there with different skins.. but, that's in a way, disrespecting the original creators of their work in my opinion... But man ur graphic lay out is just too awsome to pass by

oh.. if i may get little greedier incorporating RRearth is another cool stuff.. I just found out about that ^^

all said and done, it comes down to something like this...

This is as best I can come up with.... none are my work. As i said, i am not a graphic artist... This is combining result of urs and GFler's work.. as you can see it looks like it belongs no where...

Let's do it this way (if you agree with me):
1) you write down the meaning of each button of the last picture you posted
2) I design the graphic of the skin with new buttons and the .skin with their coordinates
3) you write the code for the buttons ( I suppose they are RR buttons)
4) I merge everything together
5) you test it for me (I don't have iG)
6) I release it with the new update

sounds cool!! I am a newbie with limited knowledge. I am not the best one to code this, but i will give a shot... and I am sure others will jump in too once they have the skin... i think i can make it work.. And I am also counting on treetop and others for help if hit the brick... Most likely I'll..^^ Let me do some reading and see what buttons need to be placed... Thanks for ur help Dalailama...
