Thread: iDrive Night Red 2.17 Released

Does your idriveconfig go thru all the skin files and change those settings? or does it only go thru a certian few?

reason i am asking, i got the plugin to work but it will only work for S&T 06 (maybe diffrent versions) and i know some people arent going to use it.

I wanted to know if it would process the gas_pricefinder.skin file as well.

The config program goes through all the skin files and changes the three drop down menu items and then in a different way the on/off button items.

What exactly are you trying to do with gas_pricefinder skin?

Ok change those buttons in gas_pricefinder.skin to the following and it should sort it out.

I searched both this and the Idrive day thread, is there any way to change the Kph to Mph on the Mappoint skin?

Also is there any way to change to the "night" type display in Mappoint from within Idrive? I cant seem to change it outside of running the app by itself.

That would be a setting in RR.ini / RRconfig, it is not defined by the skin.

If it is Mappoint 2006 then a button with "NIGHTMODE" can be added to the Mappoint_gps.skin

if mappoint 2004, don't know yet.

Sorry for the late post, I have gotten pretty busy out here and things got kinda lost in the back of my mind.

Enforcer: As soon as I get the program off the computer, ill send you the .skin files and the gas.exe plugin to interface the gas price finder with streets and trips 06.

I think the only modifications I actually made were writing the program (gas.exe) and changing the external_gps and gaspricefinder skin files... Ill have to recover them off the computer (that my bosses managed to spill about 16 oz of coffee on (its a laptop) and now I cant login to it anymore... gotta love being the IT guy!
