Got any pics of before and after?
would be really helpful.
Yes but since I did it in the previous version I got used to it that way so I changed it again.Did you even read the readme.txt?![]()
Here is the part from the skn file I've changed. I just slashed away your lines so they're still there. I've made the RDS text smaller since with the HQCT this is flikkering all the time. When it's to big it start to be annoying after some time. Also the the frequency I made a little smaller and the biggest part is the name of the preset. I like it this way best.I'd be interested in seeing the changes you have made to the radio skin for HQCT as I can't test the radio so it's maninly guesswork.

That's a bit of a problem. I only have the HQCT in my car and there I don't have the ability to screencapture. I could make aa screencap of the one on my desktop but since I have no radio there it would be the same as when you open it.
I will try to make an actual picture of the screen in my car and post this later tonight.

Alt prt-scr will put the active window into the clipboard, then just paste it into your favourite image editor (mspaint, paintshop or photoshop).
ctrl prt-scr does the whole screen.
Got it!

Modified
The RDS text wasn't as big as I tought in your version. I did it bigger in a first modification but changed it because of the reasons stated above. My bad.
As you can see the RDS text is a bit blurry with the HQCT. You need really good reception to get it right. Unfortunatly really good reception is rare.
As you can see I made the frequency smaller and the preset name bigger. Also changed the layout a bit because things where sitting on top of eachother. The Stereo, Scan and Local indicators were not in the right place and the RDS info was on top of the Stereo indicator.
It's all personal but I like it the way I did best. Maybe you can switch the preset name and frequency. Also on the night version I would make the RDS text in a darker colour because now it's white and as I said, it's flikkering all the time and blurry and when it's white it just draws too much attention.
Also in the Funcions skin the frequency label isn't big enough. When tuned on Frequency "102.5" for instance it displays "02.5"
Hope this is usefull.

It's all useful information.
You got a picture of the Functions skin as well.
I will look at it and see if we can get a nice balance for HQCT and normal radio.
Anyone else have any comments on the radio skin and have pics to illustrate?

Ok after doing a bit of testing I have made some changes.
download the following files and extract them to your iDrive folder, these will overwrite the top.skin, gpstop.skin, cdrip.skin and launch.skin and will correct the slider problem and the 'missing' satelite symbol if RoadRunner is selected. Also they correct the no selection and applications covering up the buttons in the application/launch screen.
There is one manual adjustment to be made and that is to rename the slider folder
slider_PHOCO_signal
to
slider_phone_signal
A similar correction file has been posted for the classic skin and is in the classic skin thread
