FTP is blocked on my network!!

Awesome, this skin is great!! I modifed the external GPS to use M$ Streets and Trips 06 if anybody is intrested in that, I could provide the modifications to you. (Or them, if it is ok with you.)

Its wierd, the RRSkinEditor keeps giving me errors when trying to edit the skin. Ill work on that. Is anybody else having wierd errors pop up on it?

I have attached the errors that I get. This is the first time I have ever seen these errors and I cant figure out why they are popping up. I can open the older iDrive skin fine, but the new one wont open without errors and wont save(it crashes when I try to save it)

If you wouldnt mind posting how you got the external gps to work with SnT I'd appreciate it. Im going to use this skin with my next sentraputer and I cant seem to get it to work with SnT.

What I did(not saying its right or that its the best way, but it works):
On GPS Mode in rrconfig you select Mappoint
set these in your rr.ini:
gpspath=C:\Program Files\Microsoft Streets & Trips\Streets.exe
gpsname=- Microsoft Streets & Trips

If your using something like XPort3 you can set one of the ports in your gps (it will give you all the cool gas price functions based on current location and such)
In your S-T set the screen up with no toolbars or anthing, and save it as North America.est in the templates folder of the s-t install then exit it
there are some skin commands to interface it, ill get those for you when my rrskineditor stops acting up on me. I have the ones for find, day/night mode, large text, route, add stop, add end and reroute. If there are specific ones that you need, let me know and ill look into it

To En4cer.... For some reason with the iDrive Night skin, when I select GPS I get nothing but a "pink" box at the bottom of the screen with a digital clock in it.

I do not have the same problem with the iDrive day skin. I have reinstalled and tried on multiple computers, but get the same problem each time.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm always up for receiving new bits to add on. So yes I'll take what you've done and add it to future versions.

Hmm, maybe I need to put this warning in the readme.

Check the earlier posts in this thread, there is a fix for that posted.

Enforcer, can you send me a version of idriveconfig that has an option for streets and trips for the nav program? I think it wont change back if someone is toying with it and selects one of the other options.

Im thinking that the only thing I would have to change after that would to be adding a [GPS=Streets] section in the external_gps.skin file correct?

Now i see why you cant use editing software on it too... makes sense to me. ( I think )

EDIT: Ok, this does work, You have to manually type in Streets for the nav program and it will load the correct buttons. If possible, I would still like a copy of idriveconfig with an option for streets.

I will add Streets to list of GPS programs when I release the next patch (but will send you an advance copy)

You will also need [/GPS=Streets] as well.

The extra bits I have added to allow the config program to work get deleted by the skin editors unfortunately.

Also I prefer notepad, for this and webpages.

Yes if you overwrite the GPS name in idrive.ini and then run the skin and run config followed by apply it will work, but that is messy if you have to keep doing it

if you can send my your changes then I can add them.
