First I would like to say how great a skin this is. I have looked for a frontend for awhile now, and finally saw this one. The design is perfect.
Second Im having an issue with flash compass. See attachment. When the option is off there's a white box, and when its on there's a compass but its not transparent. I get a compass in a blue box. I dont know why this started but it was working fine, but after restarting it started do this.
I have uninstall everything and reinstalled, making sure to remove all folders. Same problem. I also made sure I was running the latest flash player. Any help is greatly appreciated. Again great job.
Thanks
Joe

i really do, it's awesome. It's got a couple of small bugs for me and I'll have to get retrained how to use rr after all this time on CF, but I'm really impressed lsx, I seriously can't think of a better looking skin or frontend for any app.
you need to run RRConfig.exe (found in root of your RR install) and setup your music path directory. And also your playlist path directory (this should be in a folder inside your music library). This will fix both of your issues.
edit: oh, and to turn on the visuals. click the DATE on the main menu and while in the audio player click the button in the same area as where the date would be.

this is related to the version of flash you have installed.
The compas should have a transparent background and when its off it should not show anything.
I think you need flash9 or 8 im not 100% sure on the version i have installed right now. Start with 9 though. Make sure you install flash using IE and not firefox or some other browser. There is also a faq related to flash logo issues etc in the rr faq section. This will give you more tips on what to do ect. All the same issues are related.

It should work with older versions. I've used the same sendkey commands on both 05 and 06
Should work. When you open up the GPS screen, I've associated the 'GPS' button to automatically connect the GPS and center on position.
I've seen the AutoIT script out there to do this automatically, just haven't got round to incorporating that.
Glad to share what I can with the limited skills I have w/ skins.

This skin is Outstanding! I will admit I haven't kept up with the LSX series of skins so I realize I'm at a great disadvantage, but am I missing something on screen 2 and 3? The center sections are blank, empty, void (couldn't resist) of any information. I understand having one clean, blank page, but two. I'd like to figure out how to put the big logo and flash compass on one of them or have the option to put the same center as the main on all three.
Have you seen the work that CHUCK and others have done on adding additional functionality to the weather (added up to 6 changeable presets) and traffic (added up to 50 changeable presets) screens for those of us that travel outside of our local areas often?
XMFAV label doesn't need to be preceeded with a "=" -- that just says "XMFAV" (easy fix).
I also noticed you have no WinTV (Winamp TV plugin) button in the command lists - how do I add one?
Lastly, a request. I really like what you've done with the flash compass and was wondering if it was possible to make that a two stage flash where when you click on it, it switches between the compass and a speedo? I really think that would be OTT!
