Ok, a couple of things. First, a font problem I haven't seen discussed: some of my track names are screwed up. Obviously the file name and ID3 tag text look fine to me but with RR/LSX2:

I haven't checked the same file with other skins, but I don't remember ever seeing that before.

Secondly, why do some apps not like to be resized, and more importantly, what can I do about it? Case in point, Delorme Street Atlas 2007:

A. It resizes, but it leaves an image of where it was before on top of the RR buttons (it goes away if I press any RR button, but it's ugly when it loads).
B. That's as wide as the window wants to be, so those buttons on the right edge won't go away.
C. SA2007.exe gives an application error when RR exits, probably because it asks to save the map file or not. Not really an LSX/RR issue, but I'll fish for ideas.

Third, now that y'all know exactly where I live +/- 50 feet, will anyone come kill me? And lastly, of course, why did I go and put the button text labels in the JPG file instead of proper RR "labels", when the image is much harder to edit and that's the main reason I like LSX?! Well I know the answer to that one.

track name problem is not related to the skin, try HERE


For certain applications you will find that they do not like being embeded and there really isnt much you can do about it. In some cases work arounds exist for certain apps, but its really a case b case basis.

With that said, i would HIGHLY suggest getting iGuidance as your Nav app.
StreetAtlas sucks badly as an incar navigation app.

I've had this problem with some files given loaded by a freind while he was in the car, I just assumed the tag was messed up and never bothered with it........

Liquid Smoke... any word on the iG-Q shkin files?

The new beta cures it apparently. It's basically unicode in the tag but up until now RR couldn't handle it.

Havnt had a chance to look for the IG-Q stuff yet, but ill take a look tonight. Been really out of it this week, come home from work, sit on the couch and watch a bit of TV, next thing i know its 7 in the morning.
