I'm using LSX VOID and i'm curious if you can change the way the playlists are displayed. I have playlists of albums, named "artist - albumname". It appears that RR or the skin just displays the albumname. Is there a way to change this? i want to display both artist and album name in the playlist list.

you should be able to change the playlist format via RRConfig.exe

Click the OPT button on the main menu, and youll see a button for RRConfig.

my playlist display is "%artist% - %album%". It just displays the album name...

I just realized the RR setting for playlist refers to the listing of songs in the RR playlist, not the RR playlist menu. I want to change the way the playlists display.

LS, new version of RR out today. sounds like theres some nice things in there :P You gonna incorporate anything from it before the next release thats due?

click the rename button on that screen and it will allow you to rename the file that is selected.

also note: This screen is the PLAYLIST EDITOR, not the actual playlist in the audio screen. So the name you see in the list is the actual file name of the .m3u winamp playlist file.

Didnt know there was a new release, till now

So ill have to evaluate whats new and if any of it fits into my design of things.

But if its good, it'll be in, if it takes a long time it may have to wait a bit. Im getting extremely close. Sorta like that tingly feeling right before the big O. lol

Here's a screenshot of something i just cooked up today.
This will be the new default screen you see when you go to NAVI (if u use IG). There are also 2 other screen layouts that are not fullscreen that u can set as the default.

A few things to note. The Top left right button is the new "exit_FS" utility and the bottom right are the fullscreen mode audio controls. Whats cool about both of them are:
Fully skinable
supports png transparency
customizeable RR commands of your choice

So if you dont want the bottom buttons to be audio controls, its SUPER easy to change what command gets fired as well as the way it looks.

They are both autoit scripts, but the commands they execute are defined in ExecTBL.ini as standard RR commands and u just tell it what command to fire for what button. Simple.

These will be intergrated in the skin in various places that make since. And also released as a stand alone tool for other skinners as its very useful in a number of situations.
