    I use VLC www.videolan.org it plays pretty much everything out of the box.

    I've got a little problem. When I hit the attenuator button (on) the volume goes up and when I hit it again (off) the volume goes up higher!

    Any ideas?

    maybe your volume is already set to be low before u clicked it. The on and off states are 2 preset values that u can (and should) configure yourself based on your own sound volumes in your car.

    I believe the config screen (OPT) has a button for setting the low and high volume. Not 100% sure as so much has changed in 3.0 and i dont even have 2.x.

    Maybe turning my amp down and the soundcard up will sort it.
