i release on sunday because its the last day i can possibly work on anything outside of work. When monday starts, its work time and i dont usually touch the skin till friday. Usually. Ill do a little here and there late night during the week, but not as much as i do on the weekends. Plus , sunday is a luky day! It also gives people time to get there cars ready for monday morning commutes, thats if i release in the daytime, which sometimes doesn't happen and the release is sunday night due to last minute issues.

So when this sunday comes around, dont everyone start freaking out if its late afternoon and no release, it just means there is a small snag somewhere. I usually will post before 10:00 if i think it wont make it on that day.

But i think everything should go smoothly this sunday.

STATUS:

currently getting the install package ready.

This is a multistep process of making sure everything is in its proper place, doing a once over on all files and making any last minute changes. This can take a while to do honest and will likely take a few hours. Ive already spotted a script that needs to be written for changing the highlight color, but should only take a line or two of code to do.

So far things are looking good. And i should have an installer i can test locally on another machine in an hour or two.

After that, the installer gets tested remotely by a few people.

Fix any issue, mix and repeat till i get a good install, then release.

oh, and im supposed to be cooking sunday dinner at the same time today, so there will be some juggling going on and a small down time of a few hours
