Lsx Void 3.0

I have it installed on 3 machines. 1 locks up when I click audio (of course my carpc), that's the only button I tried...

Did you guys with lockup issues actually remove everything from the previous LS skin (INCLUDING LSTOOLS in RR's folder) -- that is, BEFORE installing the new one ?? He was pretty clear about that, and I myself have had lock up issues because of that in the past.

LS mentioned something about about setting up links for images or something like that.
I've found a way around it for now. I go to "photo", "local", pick an image, click "more", the "wallpaper" and my image is set.

You have to set up the path to your images though. I just stay away from the "images" button for now. Can't set walpaper from Flickr though as there is no "more" button option on that page.

Still digging around.......

Have to wait for LS to "weigh in" on the rest.

I uninstalled LSVoid 2.02, uninstalled RR, deleted the RR folder...basically I wiped everything out.

Install RR
Install LSVoid 3.0
locks up

I must have did something wrong...Will report back if I find anything

Yup.

Even rooted around for any remaining folder that might have been left over...........

Does it lock up right away?

I had that issue but it seemed to clear itself after a few startups. I'd only get one thin black bar down the middle of the screen, then it would lock up with no text in the buttons, and then it started working. Just an intemittent lockup now and then when I click something (I probably still have some settings to sort out. getting there, slowly)

You did add the lines to RR.ini that is in the existing readme file for the button text, right? (or everything might say "audio")

LS's readme file should sort things out. Usually does.

Yeah I removed the old void before installing the new. It works on 2 of the computers, just not the carpc...so I assume it just something in the setup. It's in the parking lot so I can't try anything else for a while.

I know when installed, changed directory on where locations where. Changed where my music location was and where my playlist was saved. after fixing this Audio worked fine. I'd verify all locations for folders are rechecked in RRconfig.

i know before i changed background and pics path in rrconfig, it would lock up as well when trying to get wallpaper and colors changed.

I had a lock up problem too and it went away. If I remember correctly, i removed all the LS2 files and settings manually (LSTools, Skin folders, files in RR folder, LSX settings in rr.ini) and added the settings from the 'add to rr' and then ran RRConfig again.
