i just found out that if the latest skineditor is used to edit the skin some skins wont load up(any skin that uses the command "menu;load_a_skin.skin") the pop up skins to be specific, and some plugins like cdrip, and web plugin also wont load at all. i post that in the skineditor sticky.

please use RRconfig, go to general >> Page2 and set Screen Fastmode to gdi+,
set your paths for music,video,picture path(general page3) and you will be good to go.
i dont mind at all sharing what i have changed to the skin, pm me your e-mail, and i'll send them your way. still messing around here and there.

I downloaded, installed it and it froze.. went right into the same issue I had last time: ratecheck.exe froze dead on 100% CPU load -- renamed the ratings folder and ALL (Except ratings) is working good. Looking at the scripts, they all point to C:\program files\road runner\ -- which is NOT where I have RR.

can someone please point me in the direction of just a simple decent avs spectrum analyzer? it seems like avs visualizations are the only ones that can be made transparent, but my package did not come with a single plain old spectrum analyzer. i have the vis_satan.dll plugin which has a very nice looking spectrum analyzer but the window has no name so i cant embed it. i ran a search for 'spectrum' and only came across one called 'axis spectrum' but for that you have to pay...

looks like that slipped through the cracks. The oddest thing though is i dont have RR in C:\program files either, its in V:\Road Runner and sometimes G:\Road Runner. No matter where i put it it never gives me that issue or on other computers that have never seen RR.

Im gonna take the download off line for a bit while i look at that issue.

All the other people who are having issues, make sure you have REMOVED all things related to the old skin and make sure you have the latest version of Road Runner, not last months or last anything, it will only run on the very latest version of RR. If you are in doubt as to what settings in RR.ini that need to be REMOVED (not added as i saw some post saying) delete your RR.ini and redo your settings from scratch. This is only for people who've ever had the previous version installed.

i had the same problem, i also dont have rr in c:/ program files, renaming the ratings folder is the onlt thing i had to do to get this great skin working

You have to set up the path to your images though. I just stay away from the "images" button for now. Can't set walpaper from Flickr though as there is no "more" button option on that page.

Still digging around.......

Have to wait for LS to "weigh in" on the rest.

the IMAGES button is exactly the same as the "PHOTO" button, the only difference is it says images. Exact same command on both buttons.

I don't know if this is an RR issue or a skin issue but I thought I'd post here first.

try setting your setting for your radio in rr.ini by hand, if RRConfig is putting both values in the settings this is likely the issue u are having. If you still have the old RRConfig , use that.

im probably going to just completely REMOVE the ratings feature from the skin all together. I dont have the energy to dig through someone else's code and figure out whats wrong with it. The latest version of the ratings plugin just gives me errors when i try to run it, so the release version of the skin will just not have this feature. Its been a pain for far too long.
