As soon as I click on the color picker button, the screen locks up. I don't know what's going on but if I do the same thing via logmein, I don't have that problem. Same goes with the Audio button. With logmein, the system locks up with an InitDX error. If I press the Audio button while sitting in the car, I have no problem. Anyway, I'll get you a debug readout.

For IG, go the OPT>GPS options and choose a layout. I believe the default layout is fullscreen mode so thats why you see the buttons. They should leave when you exit. But if the layout wasnt selected correctly (prob my fault on resetting the skin defaults) it may not know to close them. Just choose a gps layout and retry, that should work it out.

you will likely get dxinet errors if you are using a type of remote desktop like logmein, thats why it locks on the audio screen because there is an ilist and i dont think any remote desktop apps support direct x, they usually dumb down the number of colors on screen and turn things off to increase performance.

so if im correct, when you use logmein, you can click the color picker fine, but not in the car and u cant click audio when using logmein but you can in the car.

ill take another look at the color picker, and see if theres is anything i can see that would cause any problems.

i tried your above suggestions, and like i said, the drive E shows up in the list but nothing happens when i click it. ill just use the workaround from now and test with another drive if i can

when you manually added the drive to skin.ini did you list the drive letter

the first one is the correct way.

an updated download will be posted tonight. Fixes a few oversights, like some of the settings were not reset to there defaults, disabling ilist on the main menu screens,fix for seeq screen where it will continue to play audio when u exit, possible colorpicker fix, search button removed from bbaa screen (should not have been there), and a few small tweaks.

and also fix for the fm or hd radio setting option

You cant.

If you just want to prune a list but not actually delete the song, you cant do this in the skin.

BUT... If you actually want to DELETE the song that is playing then just click and hold the "Delete Track" button.

This button will either immediately delete (GONE FOREVER) the currently playing song or it will send it to the recycle bin.
To configure witch action it will do, edit the file delete.ini found inside of the "deletecurrent" folder.
By default the action=recycle, to delete forever without sending the file to the recycle bin, change it to action=delete

what you want to do isnt a bad idea, so ill look into adding this feature. If i weren't actually in the middle of uploading an updated release, id add it now.

But since its so easy to add, just follow these steps to enable it.

open audio_player.skin in notepad or any other text editor or use rrskineditor.

find this line

B01,715,298,86,62,"",@DELETE_CURRENT@

and replace it with this line

B01,715,298,86,62,"MINUS1",@DELETE_CURRENT@

so now after doing that, when you click the delete track button, it will just remove the item from the playlist and nothing else. Click and hold the same button if you want to physicaly delete the track from your hard drive.
ill prob upload an updated audio_player.skin file with the above changes for those that dont want to dig around in the .skin file.
