check that RR isnt changing your screen resolution when it runs. Look for
resolution=
in rr.ini

also, i hate to say check again, but it really sounds to me that either your screen res is set to 800x480 and the skin is set to 800x600 which would have the bottom area of the skin cut off. Or the XPosition= value in general.ini is set to a number other than 0.

just to make sure were covering all the bases. In general.ini OriginalWidth and OriginalHeight should always be 800 and 480.

If you cant see the opt button to change the skin, run these two files found in the skin folder to manualy cycle them.
copy_800x480.exe
copy_800x600.exe
restart RR

I just downloaded the "revised" void files from your web site, installed it, enabled ilist's (removed the "\") and album art appears to be working fine now.

Go figure..................

Loving the new VOID!!!
Couple question for ya. How do I change the level of transparency of the background image. I want the skin to be 100% transparent except for buttons. How do I create a button that returns me to the menu.skin? And how do I program the 5 audio presets?

And a couple requests for future consideration. Since I travel so much I've found multiple weather and traffic cities a godsend. Have you considered adding four or five programmable buttons across the top of these screens for users to input their favorite cities like in the Chucks, DFX and Shock skins?

thanks for the suggestions regarding the problems i've been experiencing. i tried and checked everything you've mentioned but with no success.

i did manage to finally get the skin to show correctly by generating a new rr.ini file using Blue ZX3's RRconfig utility. there must be something in my old rr.ini file that's been giving me the problems. everything looks great now!

Thx LS for the best skin around.. I found my problem was the skin of the Trafficams

Now spending time to figure out the Volume issue with IGuidance v4.. Volume increases for the Winamp also to that of IG volume when directions are spoken.. There a thread dedicated in RR for this but no solution.... Humm..

Hi LS, just installed the new version in the car and it seems toi be working great... I love the looks on the Bloody Mary theme, nicest skin so far that I've tried!

I have a couple of small questions that I'm sure that any of you can help me with!

1. Doesn't seem that I can use the new and Cool iList feature, just browsed through the thread and saw that there was maybe something that needed to be commented out?

2. Does it have support for the Iceradio mode for us that are using the Silab radio, tried accessing it and it didn't even give me static

3. The trip-meter, finally I have that one again, does it start loggin with the skin or do I need to go into that screen first... didn't seem that reset all worked for me either btw.

4. In the options menu I only get to the 4b screen, after that it just switches back to 4a and then 4b etc... any suggestions what it might be!

5. Does the album art need to have some specific name for it to show on the front page, I can see it when browing my library but not on the left side of the track list where it was in the v2

Sorry for spamming all these questions... I just want to tweak it like I want it...

Not sure if this is a Road Runner problem or a skin problem. Here is what happens.

1. I go to the library, pick a folder and select, play selected.

2. I than go to another folder and click on append selected.

3. I turn off the car, the computer goes into hibernate.

4. Turn the car back on and the songs I selected with Append selected are not there anymore.

Anyone else having this issue?

I've had a similar issue show up when closing RR and then reopening it. The library disappeared and the music wouldn't play. I found that winamp wasn't (isn't) always closing when RR was and I ended up with multiple (2 or more) instances of winamp running. Killing the processes in task manager fixes the problem but I haven't figured out what is the real issue with winamp not closing. Perhaps you're having a similar issue?

Is winamp 5.13 still the recommended version or maybe guino updated rr to use a newer version?

Anyone?
