Just went for a drive today for a couple hours with the new version.. I dig it!! Couple things issues though:

    1. I'll go into iGuidance and set a route, go into another menu (ex Audio, XM, etc) and come back and the route will be gone. Its almost like iGuidance is exiting totally instead of just being the background. I've read how to fix this somewhere, but I can't for the life of me find it. I think its some setting that allows a certain number of programs to be ran at one time. Any help?

    2. On the main screen, its had the city name which I assume is retrieved from the GPS. Problem is, the cities its displaying are about 20 miles away. Am I missing something here?

    3. Is the "local something something" (forget the exact wording) setting in GPS the interval for updating the city name on the main screen? If so, is that in minutes?

    4. Is everyones "Mute" button on the satellite radio working?

    5. Theme and color picker are working but "backgrounds" locks up the computer. I read earlier about a path needing to be fixed but that fixes all 3 items. I only have a problem with the backgrounds. Help?

There were a few other things but I forgot them. I'm sure I'll remember them next time I go driving.

    Thanks!!!!

Using Winamp 5.13 and that fixed the play selected button

The last problem I noticed thus far is I went to try the Video button in LSX and it made my RR hang... I ended winamp and RR and then started it back up and tried it again. Each time it hangs.

Here is the last lines of the debug file:
    Code:

    Thanks again all

    EDIT:
I think I may have found the problem...Apparently RR can not play mpg/mpeg files? I took all my mpeg video files out of folder and then tried the video and it worked. The mpeg files work fine outside of RR with WMP, Winamp, or VLC... Any ideas why mpeg videos fail?

I have the latest 3.2 (the slightly updated one with the AlbumArt/ilist 5 to 60 second fix), however after that 60seconds the ilist will change to album art even if the VIS is on.

Is there any way to make the "album art display" not be called after that 60s if the VIS is on? I just want it to stay on the Vis.

Mine plays mpeg and avi files just fine. Make sure you have your media path set correctly or it can cause this type of behaviour.

    4. Yup

    5. Sounds like you don't have you images (pictures) path set. This will also cause RR to hang.

This version of rr and/or void, seems to be sensitive to "blank spaces" when looking for your media.
I guess it gets "confused" when you call for something and it hasn't been told where to look........

    Hi LS,

As I stated above, I finally got to the point where I was comfortable enough to install 3.2 in the Mputer (car).
But I'm having issues with video/dvd's again. I don't think it's the skin, I'm sure it's how I'm setting it up. So, I guess I'm asking for a little "spoonfeeding" here.

I have the video screen working fine. Just set the media path and it plays Mpeg and Avi's fine.

My issue is with DVD playback. I can't seem to figure out what path or lines to put into rr.ini to get the dvd button (moved onto the main screen through yuor click and hold utility) to play dvd's from my dvd drive. I had it working before I wiped rr and void off the c drive to do a clean install but can't recall how I set it up. I'm probably missing it, but I only see an option to set the video path in rr, and if I set that to the dvd drive, rr won't play.

What am i missing here? I'm sure it's something simple, I just can't see it for some reason.

    Cheers

Just an idea but is there a vob file type for videos? Sorry, I'm at work so I can't check my RR config. Maybe you need to select that if there is an option?

    One little bug i found....at least, i think it's a bug...

When playing MP3's in the Main Skin i started up the visuals.
I went to the Audio Skin to select some other music.
    The Visuals are off now.
Then when i go back to the Main Skin the visuals are still off......
But when i change volume, press next or some other button that doesn't change the Skin the visuals appear again...

    Why is this?
Hmmm, this is happening so now and then, not always.
Mostly of the time it works ok......never mind this bug/problem, it's not really an issue...

    Thanks for the reply.

Yup, .vob is selected as a file type...............

I'd be more interested in your rr.ini if you wouldn't mind posting it.

Hmmm.......is it possible that mpc is not getting the "ctrl-d" command?

I can post my rr.ini file but I don't play DVDs so I don't think that comparing to mine would help much. Maybe someone else that has DVD playback working can post their rr.ini file?
