I am running this on a laptop and also on my carputer.. I havent seen this problem on the forums, so i am not sure if its something Im doing or something unseen.

All is fine if I access the internet, or weather/radar... but if i try and access gas by itself (before any other), my cell wont connect. Once a connection is made on any other, gas will work... it seems like the gas selection doesnt promote a internet connection..

While Im on this topic.. I dont believe this a skin problem, cause it happens with every skin that has a weather option... but on my laptop while trying to select weather (alone) something is preventing the update.. I removed norton, set the win firewall to not, and (with either cell or my house Lan) it still wont work . The only way i can update weather.html is by using a script i found here on the forums, but from what i have read, apparently rr wont show the screen until a connection with weather server is made, any ideas??? :confused:

prob something to do with the gas code, no idea about the weather stuff, you should still be able to see the screen even without internet cuz it caches the date. There is a readme.txt file in the root of your rr install that contains all the options in RR.ini as a significant portion of them are not in RRConfig.exe
I would look through this file and see if there is an option related to the net or weather that you dont have in your rr.ini. See if that helps any.

I was going to download this yesterday (when the link was still up) and I procrastinated. I've checked up on this link about 20 times since yesterday, hoping that the link comes back, but no link yet. Well you know the reason why I'm obsessed on downloading this is because the skin is the best one I have used in my 2 years as a carputer owner. I was waiting for the day skin to come out and than strayed away from the forums for a few months. I came back and saw Lsxvoid 2.0 and I had a grin from ear to ear. Hope everything is alright with you LS.
I'm not really complaining on the link being down. More complimenting you on the really really really good job on version 2.0. It's 10000 times better than I even imagined. I can't wait to get this installed. Beer money will be coming. Great Job! :buddy:
