and make sure the .dll is registered by opening up a command window, navigating to your rr directory, like c:\progra~1\roadru~1 and type regsvr32 GDIPlusWrapper.dll

i donno if the install automatically does it...

How do i change the car logo. I now have the VW logo and would like to change it to the Jeep logo. how do i do this.

Daaammmnnn!!! I just used this skin an is off the chain! everything you want, nothing you don't. I'venn stuck with 2 other skins and they don't have the functionality of this one; maybe except the PhoCo, creating a playlist and the logo in the center of the main screen. Since this is my first foray into this skin, I believe that I'll eventually find a way to ge to those.

not that i know of, i could make a work around for you though, what is ur com port #. But i think the problem may be localdatacapture feature in RR. Do this as a test.
Open ExecTBL.ini and find this line
"LSONSKINSTART","ratecheck2||locate"
make it look like this
"LSONSKINSTART","ratecheck2||"
this will set RR to not automatically try to locate your position from zips.dat until after a minute has passed or whatever value you have set for localdatacapture=# in rr.ini
This feature only affects the city display on the main menu and i believe maybe auto weather update based on zip. So if u completely turn it off its not a biggie and wont screw with other things much.

make sure you RR install is the very latest.
The installer does NOT install the latest version, but is needed to setup dll and stuff properly. Download the latest version of RR binaries from here

and copy them ontop of your install.

also make sure resume.ini does not have a bogus path in it. You can delete the file and RR will create a new one with proper info after a successful load.

5.13 is the correct version, do not update to any version higher.
make sure you have chosen a main menu layout that supports a visual. I believe they all do though, so never mind that. There is no flash area so not sure about that.
Sine its working in the audio screen all the other stuff seems setup right.
There are some bugs in RR right now with visuals though, so i wouldnt spend too much time screwing with it at all now to be honest. Have you hand edited the menu.skin file at all previously?

will do some testing, but i believe this is a bug in the screenlock plugin. RR just crashed on me when i tried to lock twice back to back, so ill do a little digging and isolate it. If it its indeed a bug in the screenlock, it will be replaced asap. I may even just write one myself that does a bit more like password protect specific sections of the skin etc.

all three of those things are possible in the skin.

To use phoco, since it sounds like u already have it setup in rr.ini etc, just click and hold on any button on the main menu, and choose PHOCO.

for a logo in the center of the screen,
OPT>VIS & LOGO> pick a layout that has a logo the default is a VW logo. There is a link a few post back to all the logos made for this skin.

to save a playlist,
Load any music and go
LIBRARY>PLAYLIST>SAVE and type a new name for the playlist.

i just redownloaded the newest package and i think all the problems have been solved. i think in a previous build something was missing because my installation kept stopping due to a missing file in the color picker i beleive, and then the skin wouldnt load. all is working fine now though, white lines are gone, and i just reinstalled everything and it works great including with ig4 which i just tried for the first time (i hope autosw and stuff still works with the new version though!!) thanks ls!! :-)

i will double check tomorrow, but as far as i could tell the main menu didn't have ilists, and i did try a couple of different layouts...someone please correct me if im wrong.

on another note, what's everyone use for monitoring wifi and are there any decent plugins or programs (i saw one in the plugins thread but i donno how to integrate it, and plus it doesnt match)? same thing with file syncing over a network, what works best in this skin?

also, this is more of a RR question, but does the rr library update automatically if i add a file while rr is running? in other words if i copy a file off my jump drive using xplorrer and then goto library, will it be there? last time i tried, it wasnt, but maybe i jus didnt look hard enough. what about the winamp media library? you can have a certain folder monitored but i dont know when it gets chceked. ill probably end up answering my own question,lol.
