To change from FM to Am and back. But I found what I was looking for by just looking thought the files and got it working. Not sure what my problem is or was as I could get it to save one of the settings or invisible presets but not both. But working now. Thanks.

Now I just need to get some type of wireless skin working and I will be somewhat happy with my setup. I am very limited in my knowledge of coding but from some of the post on this site I am planing on giving it a try and piece something together I hope. Are there any future plans to have one for the skin?

While this is a nice feature and one that I have missed, I have a suggestion.

Couild you put the mag glass on the audio screen instead of the library? Just one less click when driving is always better.

Also, would it be possible for the search function to just bring you to the song in the ilist? As it stands, if you want to play the music you have just seached for, it wipes the current ilist and only displays the song that you have searched for once you hit play.
You then have to go back in and reload your library or search for another song if you want it to keep playing music.

Personally, I don't think that's very safe when driving, to much time "eyes off the road"..........

Ideally, a search on both screens would be best. You could use the search feature in the library when setting up playlists, and a quick search in the audio screen for a specific song in the ilist.

If you install skype to default path it will work with the skin. Right now it just embeds it.

thanks for the search feature! does it search the hard drive by filename or is it searching the winamp library by song title? i am hoping with the new media library plugin by johnwbp (or was it bluezx3, i cant remember), we will finally be able to search by title, artist, or album like in CF. that's the only feature ive missed over the past few months.

as for the wireless screen, in case of the .0001% chance that you havent yet seen it, there is an active thread about a wireless plugin in the plugins section. i beleive he made code for some labels and what-not. im sure u have already seen it tho.

thanks again! i cant wait to get my new laptop installed into the car so i can finally use 3.2!

on another note, has anyone figured out a good background color and theme combination to use for day mode? i know there was a txt file posted before that altered some text colors n stuff, but i cant really remember anymore.

ill probably add the search as a custom command so you can add it (click hold) to the audio player if you want it there. As it is now, there really isnt any more room in the audio player for an extra button. maybe i can combine the SHUF and REP buttons into one button that cycles and put search on the other side. I could prob swing that.

As for the actual function of the search, there is nothing i can do about that. Its the standard search feature in RR and there is no way (that i know of) to change how it operates. You really shouldn't be searching for anything while your driving though

not sure if it searches the harddrive or the winamp library. I assume it most likely searches your drive because your not required to even have a library setup in winamp, and the search still works.
Im also waiting for a final version of the database plugin (bluezx3) so i can give it a go and see if it makes sense to me. RR really does need a database for a long time now, so hopefully it will be what we've all been missing and waiting for.

ive seen the wireless plugin, i actually have code for it somewhere around here that john sent me.

the txt file was a no go. There are some additional font color groupings that need to be made for it to really work. Some of the fonts end up being black on black buttons so u cant see them. I am interested in anyone using a white background for daytime and there opinion on how close it is to where a day skin should be as far as readability etc.
