Thread: Lsx Void 3.0

Do you have the latest version of flash?

1. I definitely have the latest flash player, but its not about flash i think, because i dont have any white boxes and im not dealing with a non working list, I mean i do have a working list, it just simply isn't flash, as you will see below, it is simply a list with two buttons on the right side, in fact when i opened it up on the skin editor they where just normal buttons. I tried looking in that personalize option and couldn't find anything about that.

You have to change the Main Menu Layouts / Vis Options. Open the Options, and click on Personalize, then Main Menu Layouts. Here you can select the mode you're looking for.

2. PERFECT, WORKED LIKE A CHARM, THANK YOU

Not sure on this one, although I think I have noticed that sometimes it takes about a minute for it to actually apply the rating, so I dunno.

3. It does take a minute for it to actually apply the rating, but its like it doesnt save it. So when i get back to the song its like i had done nothing.

No clue on this one, I've been too lazy to even remove the gestures myself.

4. I guess i can live without gestures, its not that big of a deal.

There's no coverflow that's built specifically for this skin, but you might be able to embed one that has been made for other skins.

5. Id say your wrong about that one, because i was tinkering A LOT to try and get that one, and after doing some looking around i found a screen called coverflow, from the list of screens on the skin editor it was called "coverflow.skin". I tried to find a link that would link me there from within road runner but i couldn't find it. So im guessing someone just has to point me in the right direction, i don't think its really that difficult at all.

If I understand you correctly, you can't get the scolling iList feature to work? Specifically, the drag and throw style scrolling?
If so, you need to go to the "option screen" in LSX, and select "turn on iLists". Now restart RR. If this doesn't work, you need to go into these folders: RR- skins- lsx - alt. Then you need to select the style you're using (IE: big vis opt 1) open the menu.skin file and edit the ilist lines. ILists are "commented" out by defaut in void. In other words- remove the backslash in front of the iLists lines.

You MUST, I repeat MUST have a version of RR that supports iLists or it will crash. Guino's site has the latest last time I checked......
And Yes, Gestures are a PITA with iLists. I turned them off also.

Although it has been done. You just have to do it yourself- Lsx Void 3.0 . You need a pretty powerful system to run it smoothly in RR though. The graphics requirements are quite demanding and will load the system up pretty fast. Typical low powered car computers need not apply............

If you get a working coverflow screen/skin up and running, by all means, post it! I'd love to give it a try, I just don't have enough time to work on it myself..................

When I installed the skin and tried to do that, what would happen is that it would start the gesture recognition, so i took gestures off from the rr.ini....still, no help....i later realized that in one of the pictures in the "Manual" folder, the list looked different, i searched some more and found a flash file in the skin that looks the same....i tried inserting that flash file using the skin editor and that didn't work.

so, can someone please explain to me how to make it so that it would scroll through the songs like it does in the video?

I asked the same question on page 183, here is the answer i got, and it did the trick:

"u have to turn on the iList's, its in the LSX preferences"

someone asked if it would be by the end of this month, and while i cant promise anything, its very possible that will happen. The sooner the better, so i can start work on void 4.0 which will be rebuilt from the ground up and have an all new look etc. So im probably going to stop all updates on the 3.x series once it reaches 3.5 and then focus on ripping everything apart and redoing it.

I'm tryingto setup MS Streets 2007 by using the embed apps option in Void. I can get the program to launch, but it takes over full screen.

I'm missing something simple, I know it.

Ideas anyone?

Never mind, as usual I found the error just after my posting.

I followed the recomendation of placing ";" before the windows name. removed it and all is fine.........

I have audio and can switch from FM to AM. However, I do not have the signal strength indicator and the two arrows shown above, and I can not tune into HD subchannels using HD sub button. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Re-install the skin is a quick way.

May be a flash problem.
