ok... no errors... it starts, but stops at 1%... i did run the installer on my xp box without any probs, so i got the skin workin... love it :)

"Weather Forecast videos from google inside the weather screens. To change the city from Chicago, edit "LSXCOLORS.txt". At the end of the file you will see a bunch of cities listed. Change the first line in this section to the city you want, only the url should be editied."

I just installed this skin on my car, but I couldnt get it to work at first, the menus wouldnt appear correctly (like if the rr.ini was incorrect) after doing some tests, i found out that there was a exe script running on background that hanged (ratecheck.exe) If i manually stopped that exe then it loads the menus as specified by the .ini (default one). For now I renamed ratecheck.exe to ratecheck2.exe and that fixed my probs, but not quite sure what else could be cuasing this. I did a clean install on RR and then the skin install. anyone else experienced that? or it was just me??

(RR running on a stripped down version of XP SP2)

ratecheck is the ratings plugin. Did this only happen once or does it always happen. What happens when you try to run it stand alone.

just incase anyone else is little confused on the weather forcast,

on line 106 of LSXCOLORS.txt is the only line you need to modify.

By default it looks like this

Always does it... right now it just started doing again, i tried on my desktop pc with same results, if I kill the script from the tray, boom the screen finishes rendering (else I just get stuck with a GUI with no usuable buttons)

and if I try to run it directly from the explorer I just get the icon stuck on the tray bar.

ive never seen that happen before. Is this the first time you're using this skin or did you use previous versions also? The file in question has been used with this skin for quite a while now.
What type of virus scanner are you using ? I know some of them have issues with autoit scripts.

for some reason all my fonts have gone ITALIC not sure why?
it inst set like this in the lsxcolors.txt and i didnt change anything?

it was like this when i first downloaded

none of the fonts are set to be italic, not sure how that can happen. I see your in Au so my guess is there is prob some localization issues with your version of windows and the fonts the skin uses. Which items on screen are in italic, i can try to narrow it down to which font is causing you problems.
