I just tried 1234 and i hit the "key" icon and it just erases the password so thats not it right? And this was my first time installing the skin too with a fresh install of RR...

I just had this happen as well with a fresh install of windows.
I made the mistake of installing LSX before RoadRunner.
I reinstalled LSX over itself after I installed RoadRunner and all the buttons worked fine.
Just reinstall LSX and you should be good!

look in the skin folder for the file "screenlock.ini" open it and voila, your PIN is there. its 1234 by default.

Arg... I found that and I tried changing the pin, reading the readme for it, and even changing the command to open a different skin. None of it works...:nutz:

did you check/change both day/night folders?

Yup... i even tried the "regsvr32 screenlock.dll" method in the readme but it still just doesn't do anything but erase what I wrote when I click the key.

make sure you add ".exe" as an audio file type in RRConfig.

mine looks like this
.m4a,.mp3,.wma,.cda,.aac,.rmj,.m3u,.MP4,.txt,.exe

the vis in that screen... it's just empty on mine, nothing there at all! and I can't seem to find any vis in winamp that looks like that spectrum thingy! :confused:

the spectrum in my screenshots is not included with winamp. There is a link to it somewhere on the 1-3 posts. Note, it will not work with winamp 2.x you will need winamp 5.x and i recommend not going any higher than winamp 5.13, higher versions will give you problems. If you need to download an older version of winamp go to http://oldversion.com

also note the vis does not start on its own. You have to click the button on the top right corner of the screen to activate it. If you want it to start on its own everytime you load RR. Open RRConfig.exe and put VISU in the "Start Command to execute:" field.

i believe the correct file to edit with the pin is located in the root of your RR install, not the skin folder. There may be a copy in there too but its not the one thats used by the plugin. This may be and likely is your problem.
