*edit* Frig, found the problem right after I posted, name was wrong. But now that I have it embedding, I find the pop under control buttons only do the audio and have no effect on video playback. Is this the way it's supposed to work? And once the button bar is up, I can't get it to supress.

it works best using the default dvd support in RR. I know, prob not what u wanted to hear. You may find that windvd and or powerdvd will embed with the skin, but this is mostly failed experiments. None of the standalone dvd apps integrate tightly.
MPC works good with dvds also, so if you dont want the intergrated dvd in RR, use MPC instead, this is what i use.

Visuals are winamap visuals, thus some prerequisites of using winamp are required. If you downloaded the visual presets from this thread, they go into the AVS folder in your winamp install. In RRConfig.exe choose AVS as your visual and also in winamp choose AVS (advanced visualization Studio) as your visual plugin. Make sure you also set winamp to use classic skins, and not modern else the visuals will not embed correctly in RR. Also, you want to make sure you have the right version of winamp. Various versions cause different issues with embeding etc. I recommend winamp 5.13, esp if you plan to use the visual preset for this skin.

The calendar is rainlendar, you have to download it, there are links to this in the first couple post (i believe). If not there i know there is a link in the archive history thread for this skin.

To enable pictures open RR.ini and add or edit this line
picspath=V:\Users\liquidsmoke\Pictures

change the path to your pictures.

THanks for the reply. I have already downloaded and installed the software for the calender but when I press the calender button...nothing happens. Do I need to do any configuration in the skin or RR ?

If you downloaded rainlendar 2 you will have to edit a line in ExecTBL.ini (inside the skins folder, for both day and night versions)
Find this line
"CALENDAR","RUN;C:\Program Files\Rainlendar\Rainlendar.exe"
change the path to point to the install for Rainlendar 2. Its backwards compatible so the skin should still work in the newer version. Ill prob make an update for it to use the newer format at some point.

There should be a zoom button in the skin to change the aspect ratio.

yeah, that may be a tad misleading now that you mention it, ill see if i can come up with a better icon. Thats the main reason i use Text instead of icons for 99% of the skin, so everything is clear. Maybe an icon that was 2 boxes, one wide and one square?
