Rainlendar was never ever meant to embed into RR, it just opens full screen ontop of RR. The skin for rainlendar is also a fullscreen skin, one is 800x480 and another at 800x600.

Yup.

"Duh" for me again.

Figured that out after rainlender 0.22 loaded up. It was off centre, but once I moved it, it's obvious. Just have to edit the background "2006" now. You wouldn't happen to have the .psd for that screen would you? (I can do it myself, but it's easier to just change a layer than the whole .bmp)

status update:

I was all set to release the update yesterday, but with some recent additions to RR i couldn't resist to add the one feature ive been wanting for ages, dynamic backgrounds. I have it working now but it requires the latest beta RR which isnt quite ready for prime time but its damn close.

Here is an example of the new dynamic backgrounds.

with some tweaking i think i may be able to have th day and night version be only one skin.

where abouts do you load the background image? i have transparent ON OFF and DOWN images working fine, but I cant work out where to load the background image. i tried in the EMPTY layer but this didnt work...

totally understand though if you dont want to give away your tricks quite so soon!

The dynamic background looks freaking hot! I got my car out of the gararage for the first time this summer last weekend. This year I will change my laptop carputer and upgrade LSX from 1.5(?) to 2.5. Really looking forward to get the rating future and the dynamic background. Send you some more beer money as soon as I got it installed.
