yeah, the autoswitch On you see on the main menu is for igautoswitch for IG. That really was just a debug thing that kind of got left in, you can click the label and toggle it on/off. It'll prob be removed and or replaced with something a little more discreet.

what do you have the settings set to for igautoswitch in the options screen from inside the skin?

not sure what the white flashes are on the gps screen, although it could be the same issue a few of us were talking about a long time ago that seemed to never have gotten resolved, where you would see a white box when you enter or leave the gps screen, the box was about one inch square. This may or maynot be what your seeing. If so im still not sure exactly what this is. Its not related to the skin though, there are quite a few people that also see this with other skins.

Well, the flashes aren't that big of a deal. I bet it will be resolved in the next release of road runner. When I switch back from the gps screen after listening to a few songs, winamp will jump back to the song I was listening to before I entered the gps screen. for example, playing song 1...then I enter the gps....listen to the rest of 1, then 2 and 3. Next I go back to the audio menu and bam, it jumps back the middle of song 1. Is this normal? Is this skin or road runner related?

First off all, i was using your old LSX skin and i like it a lot, i found this one, and this is by far the best skin i have use.

Congratulations on this excelent work.

Now my problem, i really sucks change things in the skins, i try to use Freephone with one of the empty buttons that the skin have, the problem is i can get to the app, when i do everything the manual sais the app doesnt appear in the floder it is. Maybe i should add the app somewhere to make active or something but i have check everything and didnt find anything maybe and most possible i didnt see cause i dont know what i'm looking for.

Could someone give some light how to set an app with the empty buttons.

PS: i know all the skin steps, like push the button for 2 sec, then setup, bla, bla...

no the buttons on the top of Ext App are not customizable, but i do believe they have blank commands setup for them in ExecTBL.ini, i think they are something like "CUSTOMAPP1" or something like that. I never use the extapp screen so its been kind of neglected over the past releases. Do people use this screen?

The left and right arrows can be removed very easily. Just open the skin in RRSkineditor and by default the first screen is menu.skin, thats the only one you need to edit, you'll see a bounding box around each of the arrows. Just delete the box and save. The graphic (arrows) will also not show up anymore.
Note: by removing the bounding boxes, you will also remove the ability to go to the other 2 secondary menu screens.

By default i believe the gps should show mi/h but if somehow yours is showing different, open RRConfig.exe and check uncheck international something under the GPS section.

Man, so many changes since 1.6.... I finally got my new carPC up and running and now I just installed the new 2.0.

Few problems... I remember in the first one some people had a problem w/ all Buttons called AUDIO. I didnt have a problem back then but now I do. How do I get them back to what they really are?

and the skin loads up as 800x480 so since I still havent figured out how to flash my bios and get that res, I have a line on the bottom that shows the desktop.

double check the faq on the first few post for the AUDIO problem, to change the res of the skin, click the OPT button then click the text 800x480 or 800x600. But of course if you have the AUDIO problem you prob dont see the OPT button.
Its right above the Play button and to the right.

Make sure your RR.ini has the correct settings for the skin, no dupes etc. Worse come to worse, rename your rr.ini and redo your config. Also, since you are coming from 1.6 to 2.x make sure you have the LATEST (released) version of RR (not the current beta). One of those should fix you up.

cool... thanks a lot... I know these are small problems but I've been setting up everything and trying to get it working all day and by now I'm tired of running back and forth to my car and house...

It gave me a few other errors but I'm sure I've missed some more setup options.
