the font type, size, and colors can all be changed by editing LSXCOLORS.txt.

The highlight colors likely wont be changing from red.

You can try this. Set the TEST.EXE to autostart with windows, but to start minimized (by editing its shortcut properties). So when you go to load that screen the app will already be running so it should just embed right away.

Ive been thinking about going back to the non plugin version of the webbrowser thats in RR and set it to use firefox. Not really sure why there are 2 versions anyway, but the focus issues do drive me crazy so i end up just opening a browser outside of RR.

I'm not sure if this is something you can impolement or not, but would it be possible to have the dvd screen "remember" your current position on playback when hitting "close" to check your gps guidance or such?
It's a terrible pain to get out of DVD playback to check the map and then have to FF through a dvd or cd to try and find where you were.
Don't sweat it if it's a lot of work though. You've already done an awesome job so far.

Also, do you have a tentative date on 2.5? (rubs hands together anxiously with glazed look in eyes!)

I use Media Player Classic and it remember the position. Therefor I don't think this have to do with the skin. I still use version 1.6 and I have to re-open the dvd file manually after pressing the "dvd" button.

do you use iGuidance?

i think if there was access to the quickmenu from the dvd screen, you could go to other areas without having to close the dvd first. Ill look into it.

2.5 will be out soon as the GDI+ stuff in the current beta is worked out.

I use iguidance 3.0, but I am looking to upgrade to 3.0.1 so i can take advantage of your excellent GUI you're developing as previously posted in this thread. If I recall, you said it will only work with 3.0.1....

I can't wait to try it out! For the changes to iguidance if nothing else! The "button look" is starting to grow on me and seems better everytime I see it.

I've really gotta buck up and contribute to the beer fund considering the use I get out of your skin. I just don't have a paypal account right now (had to close it due to fraudulent charges being applied. I'll never give out my credit card number again!). Is there some other way to send a few "clams" (minds out of the gutter now gents!) your way?

Ok so quick question. I am a uber noob. Actually just got my carputer today and everythign setup, just trying to get the software working now.

So I wanted to add GPSgasoline... I got everything added but how do I add a button?

I looked for config's and .ini's but didnt see any with the button's in there, I am sure I missed them. But figured id shoot hte question real quick as I know its a simple thing that I am missing.

there is already support for GAS, click and hold any button on the main screen and choose GAS. I would prob remove any files you added for this, esp if it overwrote any existing files.
