liquid_smoke, thanks for the reply. When I click and hold buttons which cycle through 1-5, a popup opens which shows the slots 1-5. Here I have option to save with auto or my own playlist name. But in both cases it saves to one of 1-5 slots. The same is with "Save" button inside PList. It also pops up the same dialog box to save the playlist in 1-5 presets.

Right, sorry to drag this out but Ive got the latest flash and it hasnt helped. Is there something else I have to do?

you are correct. For some reason i thought it worked the otherway, till i tried it out and remembered why i did it the way its done now. The custom name in the 1-5 is for display only.

Ill have to change the SAVE button on the plist screen in the update and make it just a generic playlist save instead of the 1-5.

In the mean time, i believe this will work.

STEP 1. load some music

STEP 2. save it to one of the 1-5 slots

STEP 3. go to the plist screen, select the Preset1-5 list item and click RENAME

this will let you rename the actual m3u playlist file used by the 1-5 slots.
The one you rename will be missing as soon as u rename it, so if you plan to cycle to it you will have to resave that slot. The skin will auto recreate the m3u file as it needs to.

ill narrow this down to a one click operation in the update.

a search for "flash white box" in the rr forum should lead you to several results to fix this.

This is the first faq in the RR faq section.

when you update flash, make sure you are using IE (internet explorer) and not FireFox else you will just be updating the flash player plugin for firefox and not the player that the OS uses.

I tried to change the List2 skin and remap the SAVE button. I found that it is a label not a button and I don't know how to use label. So I created a button, set the command to SAVELIST and placed it on top of existing label. It works for now but on UI side, it shows a white box instead of red when highlighted.

I will be waiting for this update. Thanks again.

between this version and the upcoming one, this skin is so popular and so many questions are getting asked over and over that it needs its very own wiki or a faq page or something

I want to assign a hotkey (will use in girder) to the "LOAD" button on PList screen. This load button loads the currently selected playlist and takes back to the audio screen. I successfully created the command as follows

"LOADLIST;$PLAYLISTPATH$my.m3u;

This load the my.m3u in path defines in config file.

But as you can see, I have hardcoded the name of playlist. I want to get the name of the playlist which is currently selected and place it in above command. Kindly let me know how to do this.

Hey, I just installed LSX, and I'm already addicted to it. However, I've got the white box of no flash, and rrdownloads.net has apparently lost its lease. Can anyone point me to a "flash.zip" download link? (and I did search, I swear!)
