I have only used the day version since I downloaded it a few months ago. I would really like to see that version improved along with the night version. Maybe you can have one skin with all the code but have a setting that changes the colors from one scheme to another scheme.
I made a wiki for the skin over at someplace called wetpaint (never heard of it, but it was free and the first google result for "create free wiki"). the url is http://lsxvoid.wetpaint.com/
The page has a ton of ads, but if you're using adblock on firefox you probably won't see any of them.
There's only one FAQ up right now, it's the flash update FAQ, so add some stuff!

Sure u can make new pages over at the Wiki... anyone that feels like starting can go to http://www.mp3car.com/wiki/index.php...id&action=edit and start making the first one... if it should be named something other then LS Void just change the part after title= in the URL...

Truthfully, I'm usually on the day skin and seldomly use the night skin myself.......yeah i second the day version..
(it's easy for me to say this, I don't have to do the work)
i was tiring out the night version the other day and i couldn't read a thing, I forgot how bad it was.
switched to day and it was much better.. I've even been using the day version during the night. i have RR turn the gamma down so it not so bright.
Maybe you could have the buttons a light gray with black writing and have the center part of the skin change from light gray to dark gray.
the buttons will still be bright at night but the main bulk of the skin will be darker? get me?
Waiting for a few more months is no big deal, in my opinon, if it means getting a working day skin also. I'll help any way I can but I'm not the best at skinning and ls seem sto have a great idea of which way it should go......

The day version will get reworked though. Very similar to how you describe above. I am actually thinking of another way to have them both in the same skin, but i think it would actually be more work than just doing the day over from scratch.
Personally i couldnt see myself using the day ver at night, it just looks bad to me. I kind of feel sorry for u guys using the day ver full time. There are a few features not present in the day ver. Very soon im going to create a skin that just has a bunch of color swatches with text on them and various things like taht for people to load up and basically just click on the areas that are easiest to see ect during the day so i can get an idea of the average visibility. I have pretty dark tint on my car so I rock the night version full time and would be pretty hard for me to really test it.
