Hi there, your skin looks so great. I have tried downloading it 4 times now, thru ie, firefox and twice thru download managers, the file is corrupt for sure. Hope you can fix this soon, i can t wait to try it. Cheers and thanks for all your time and dedication?

EDIT: Repair file with winrar if corrupt. Shortcut "ALT+R"

i had this problem too. Use the repair function in win RAR, and it will create a new (non-corrupt) rar that will extract properly. This skin is GREAT!

thanks for such a fast reply. I had just tried reparing and it worked for me too. i came back to post and say it just needs repair but you were just to fast lol.

humm, not this again.

Well its cool the repair works, im not sure what issues may arise from the file being damaged, then repaired.

Ill upload the file again sometime this weekend.

Or i could just upload 3.0, technically its done but not ready yet.

I actually have to do a content review to make sure everything i intended to include is there and all known bugs are fixed. The todo list (posted earlier) is empty. Currently trying to find the source of a lock up that only happens on my carpc.
But other than that i think its ready. Of cource i wont fully know till i go over all my notes and threads here to make sure i didn't miss something i promised i would include/change/fix etc.

debating on using an installer or not, its technically not needed as the structure of the skin has changed and a simple drag and drop will get the skin up and running. All config options are inside the skin, no need to add anything to rr.ini (at least not for the skin to function) but its so much easier when inside the car to just click, next, next, done. Instead of opening explorer and copying , pasting etc. maybe ill write a pretty utility in autoit to copy the skin over, who knows.

I wont be home at all this weekend so there wont be any activity till late sunday.

Just downloaded and installed Winrar, on repairing it did find some recoverable errors and then recovered them. I can now extract the archive correctly.

But the installed gets stuck at 0%

Which I guess must mean the executable is still corrupt...

Think I'll wait for 3.0!

EDIT:
By the way, ever considered using the NSIS installer instead? (I.e. the opensource Winamp installer) It is so much simpler.
