You need to provide more details about your symptoms. E.g. does it change screens, does DVD player work, does it give an error, what video format are you attempting to play, etc etc etc

Im assuming you are referring to video being disabled while you are driving. I believe the answer is in the help file.


Speaking of video, I am having an issue with the controls popping up randomly during playback. Anyone have any suggestions?

Are you by chance using a wheel/trackball/mouse to control the skin? I have heard of this happening with vibration of the car, bumps in the road ect vibrating the controller just enough to make it move. If you watch a video for instance on your desktop in RR, and bump the desk, the controls will pop-up.

Just finished fully integrating the ratings plugin into the skin. You will be able to tap the song name on any screen that it is displayed. This will bring up the pop-up in the below screen capture. It gives complete information about the song, as well as being able to rate the song. (Just tapping a star will save it to the corresponding playlist)

I have personally never been much to rate songs, but I have found this very useful! The "Star Ratings" correspond to 5 custom playlists. Personally, if a song is playing that I really like, I will rate it 5 stars. At any time you can load the 5 star playlist and listen to the songs in that playlist. Its a great way to have 5 different playlists. For instance the wife/girlfriend/significant other can use, say the 3rd star for all their favorite songs. If you get sick of a song in your favorites, you can "re-rate it" and it will remove it from that playlist and add it to a different one.

Damn! It never stops! While typing this, I had the idea to load any of those 5 playlists right from that pop-up with the touch of a button..... Back to the drawing board Ok, back to the topic here!

There will also be indicators at the top of the screen (You can see them on the menu screen in the background in the top right), so at a quick glance you can see if the song has been rated yet, and if so, the current rating.

LOL - yeah I was kidding, I've got 2 sisters so I know how that is.

On the other hand - I'm mid-20's so 19's not that far behind
