Looks awesome, then again, I think the blue (that's on the bottom) would look better.

I went with black, as it goes with everything. Imagine using the Copper color for the skin, and the traffic was blue. Unless you are a huge Florida State University fan, (Go Gators!) the Orange and blue would not work together. This would be the case with many other colors mixed with that blue.

With the transparencies, It's no longer a need to release the PSD's Attached are 2 transparent PNG's (On & Off state). Simply paste the station logo's of your choice on the images in Gimp or Photoshop, and save them out as PNG's.

    Here are the PNG's:

when using the transparent version of DFX, i was in the player screen, clicked on Visualize, visualizer showed up, then clicked on GPS, after a while GPS showed up. Then if i try to go back to visualizer, i click on Visualiser, GPS embedded window goes behind the DFX skin(so u cant see the GPS) window says 'Loading GPS', then visualizer does not show up until i click on the Visualize again, and same thing with GPS, if i try to go back to GPS.

    any one else noticed this?

Another thing i have posted earlier, is when i load the transparent screen, RR opens up, if i click on MENU again to get to second menu, the screen freezes. This doesnt happen all the time, but does happen very often.
    any help on this?

Hahahah! I JUST noticed that in the car yesterday! The buttons are labeled a bit confusing. Think of the GPS button as a toggle to turn it on and off and all will work normally. I also noticed, that if you embed the GPS in the audio screen, the can actually have the visualizations over the top of iGuidance! hahah!

Thanks for the zip John. Now to photoshop.

I'm happy with the way it turned out, but then I've been working on it 3 months so it should be decent

Post or email me your pictures!

Sounds great! Can't wait to see the pictures!

To the rest of you out there, I would love to see some pictures of the skin running in everyone's car! I don't think thats too much of a price to pay for the skin

I just added a new custom made indicator to the main menu that will be lit if you have a solid GPS connection.

Hey, John, thanks for the x2 on the donations list, but you need to fire your accountant because it's x3. I've probably bought you a keg of Heineken by now!

With all of the donations you're up to, what, $0.10 per hour?

By the way, I can't get a decent picture of my screen for anything. If I use a flash the glare shows up in the pic. If I don't use a flash the image is blurry because I can't keep the camera still long enough.

Damn, that much? Maybe I should get into doing skins.

Seriously John, thanks for all the hard work, and then supporting us users - even when you have to type in big bold red letters

Cool, now I can remove the variable I had put on the main menu for that exact purpose. The less customization I do, the easier to keep your upgrades installed.

Fixed! Actually, I just did the calculations, and with a pretty good approximation of the time spend on the skin, and the donations, it works out to about $0.3251 cents per hour So klundy Go for it! hahahah

I am a photographer, and know what you mean. You are probably using a "Point and shoot" camera... there is probably an "action" setting on your camera. Turn the flash off, and action on, and that will open the appature fully, so the shutter doesn't have to stay open as long, thus reducing the blur from an unsteady camera. Another alternative, is to use the self timer. and set the camera on something in front of the monitor. This way there is no movement from pressing the shutter button.

Actually you are the one that gave me the idea I tried to do an indicator on the GPS button itself, but Indicators disappear in a rollover state in Road Runner I tried just about everything I could think of, and finally just put it in the top bar.
