Wholy smokes! Now that you have made the text more prominent & showed the background I am using, the skin looks frikin amazing with the visual! Alright, I gotta change my visual from milkdrop to that one.

Time to read the directions on that, but after the hockey game...

RR has always been a little lazy about updating that. You can add a line somewhere in the skin that you want to make sure it is updated, when you go to that skin:

that line can go anywhere in a skin file on a line by itself. This means that RR will force itself to re-load the skin images, and any artwork ect on that skin whenever you go to it.

Added that to the Audio_Full_Player skin after the first three lines and still doesn't get it to refresh. Do I need to add it to another skin?

Well I got back, and had to take everything out of the case to remove the motherboard, as the mounting bracket goes on the back of the motherboard for the fan. I just got it all put back together, and came here to post about the ordeal. What a mess!

at the moment if i tap traffic button in Programs Skin,i get traffic infomation for the usa,when press and hold get traffic cams.

is there any way i can have traffic cams as default button so on tap of button i get traffic cams instead of usa traffic info.

the /Discardable line in a skin, simply removes the images from that skin from memory, when you leave the skin. Thus forcing RR to reload all images for that skin when you come back to it. Is you art not updating when the song changes? I have not had that problem here, and not sure what it could be if that is the case.

Ok, for you people on the other side of the pond

Open the "Programs.skin" in notepad, and find this line:

B37,404,270,391,134,"Load;Traffic.skin",@TrafficCams@

Replace the entire line with:

Code:

B37,404,270,391,134,"TrafficCams"

I hate to sound like an idiot, but my car PC is up and running very good now, and I am tweaking.
I am looking thru the help file and wanting to add the spectrum analyzer. The help file asks me to 'locate the "Spectrum Analyzer" folder in the location you unzipped the DigitalFX Skin to'. I didn't unzip anything. I have looked in the folder created in the skins folder, and the spectrum analyzer folder is not there. I also looked for the theme.ini file for iG, but it is not there as well. I did a search on my hard drive and could not find them either.
I know there is a simple solution, I just can't find it!

Any help is appreciated!!

Also- on a side note- How can I change the silly car icon on iG UMPC to the arrow for location? It is hard to tell which way the car is going on North-Up maps.

I beleive it is in the "DigitalFX_Winamp_AVS" folder now, within the skin directory.

You are not the idiot, I am! hahaha I forgot to package some of the helper files and such with the new installer program.

You can download the new version, and the help file has been updated with updated instructions, and screen captures to make setting it up a breeze.

This adds the visualizations to the main menu, and allows you to change the visualizations from within the skin.

Also the Audio screens have been rearranged, so when you click on the MUSIC button, you go directly to the player now, and not the browser. Check the help file the installer puts on your desktop, under revision history for all the additions an fixes.

YEAH!!

I know that the large red font is reserved for you, but this is just great.

I have been searching and reading, all 2 million pages of this thread, but can't find. Are the animated weather GIF's working, or is that in the works?

I have tried to do everything that I know of, but still get the gifs from like early April when it was snowing in the Great Lakes area
