i would like to change the webcam feature to another program.

the resides in the road runner : C:\Program Files\Road Runner\DaulCapture\Start Both Captures.bat

i know i need to change the line in the programs skin, but to what is my question.

that code is for the auto update of the City,state names from your GPS.

if you replace the 1 with a 0 , it will not update.

If your computer is slow just use a higher number.

the info on that code in on you desktop. when you installed the skin.

changed the time, the thing is as soon as i add the line to rr.ini everything locks up when i go to gps. i'm not using iguidance and i thought i was connected some how so i took the line out and everything is hunky doorey now.

Have you got the new version of RR?
that code only works with the new version.

version should be " April 12 2007 " (4/12/2007)

It looks like you have 1.0 version of the skin. if so ,you would not need the localdatacaptureinterval=1 code. there is nothing in the skin that is using it.

that is only for 2.0 version skin

If that code was in your rr.ini . then you installed 2.0 version. and added all the code from 2.0 to the rr.ini.

did you add the other optional codes too? if you did you might need to remove them too. they were for the 2.0 . But, I'm not 100% sure about that.

what is "iGuidance 3.0 UMPC Patch" on john's download site? i searched this thread and nothing came up

also do i have to do anything special to update and keep my RR settings?

^^^ Along with that question is do we need to uninstall DFX2 before installing a newer version? Or can we install over the old...which is what I've been doing.
