    New Version Uploaded

    Ok, new version with some fixes and additions was just uploaded. Fixed the issues mentioned over the past couple pages in this thread. Check the first post for full details.

    As for the Sirius, Again.....I do not have a Sirius unit, so I have no way to test it. Has anyone edited anything to make Sirius work with the DigitalFX skin? If so please contact me so I can find out what was needed to make it work once and for all. Thanks.

    John, is there any way to preolad the XM when the skin starts. just so, the xm turns on and is at the channel that it was last at on the presets.

    Maybe using the Preload command or onskinstart command? or any other way.

    I not ask you to do it on your skin. I just wanted to do it on my side . I alway have to go to the xm skin to get it to come on and then I move to gps skin.

    Just want to know if the is something that can be done or not.

    thanks john.

    you still need to copy all the code above to the " xmcache.ini " to be able to see the channel on XM.

    Hmmmm well the preload command, is only good to load the images that a skin uses, so that won't work.... I am not even 100% sure if this will work or not, as the XM hardware is in the car, and I can't test it. Give this a try though, and let me know.

    Find this line in the Exectbl.ini file in the DigitalFX SKin folder:
    Code:
    "OnSkinStart","PresetLoader||IGSettingLoader"
    Replace it with this line:
    Code:
    "OnSkinStart","XM||PresetLoader||IGSettingLoader||Load;Menu.skin"
    What this will do, is when the skin starts, go to the XM screen, and then return to the main menu. You will probably see a flicker of the screen, but it should be unnoticeable for the most part. Theoretically it should work. If it does work, you can add the XM skin to the preload list in the rr.ini, and it will reduce the screen flicker quite a bit, as the images will be preloaded for the XM skin, and RR will not have to load them when it switches to the XM skin when RR starts.
