    re 2 cm black strip

i just got the same as the others back 1 page, when i installed on the carputer.
tryed everything then i reinstalled the skin files again and all was well,
the only thing i can think of is that some reg files did'nt get reged the first time round.

quick q. of my own . dose sonixs locate pluging work with the zips.dat file,
if so i'm assuming this that it has zip codes to match gps .so the zips will be USA only, this could be why its not working for me.

good luck on the house john not an easy buy, over here they are making it more difficult to by all the time, thats the Goverment for ya.

    JohnWPB,

Good luck with the home buying... I've been through it quite a few times, and everytime has it's own challenges. Hope it goes well. If you need any hints don't hesitate to pm me.

Problem with iGuidance / Internal volume

    Hello!

I'm having a couple problems with this skin, both of which are probably my fault. First off, when I access iGuidance through roadrunner, it pops up in another window rather than within the skin itself. I checked the help file and couldn’t find the answer. Secondly, when I increase or decrease the volume within the skin, my system volume is immediately brought to zero, and I have to go into control panel to turn it back up.

Any input would be HUGELY appreciated!

Check to make sure the GPS window name is correct in RRConfig; should be exactly as you spelled it above. Also look for this line in rr.ini: ignative=true.

Also in RRconfig under "music" there is a setting to map the master volume; set it to "master volume". Once you do that, set the computer volume to zero then set the volume to zero in the skin. From then-on, adjust the volume from within the skin.

Okay, I am having a problem that I know at least a few people know a solution to. I am looking to embed a few things on the launch (External Apps) screen. I looked at the Programs and Launch skins and i just can' seem to figure out where to add the lines or even find the lines for the default options (calc, explorer, etc.) I did a search and read the post about the person that embedded Outlook so I know it's possible. I've been trying to figure out this for the longest time and the only thing I can do now is just ask.

John, the first house is the toughest. Once you get some history on paying mortages, it seems to get a little easier when you purchase again.

Besides, when this skin is purchased by Microsoft for tens of millions, you can buy the bank and fire the folks that made you jump through all the hoops in the first place.

Just close and move before the boards are shipped...LOL

I found the Launch directory where everything is. I can't believe I missed it. I guess I didn't even think to look in the RR directory. The problem I am having now is I can't figure out the ini. I tried a ton of things but nothing seems to work. I got the first 2 lines correct, i believe but I'm not sure about the last 2 lines. Does anyone have an example INI, the ones in the Launch directory aren't really helping.

    Good luck with everything John.

It sounds like you're using the wrong window name in RRConfig. Go into RRConfig under the GS tab and make sure the GPS window name is "iGuidance" (no quotes).
