Thank you Capri28!! This is what the help file said to do:
"First download & install Winamp Version 5.13 linked above.
Next, There open the DigitalFX SKin folder, and then go into the DigitalFX Help File folder. in ther locate the "Spectrum Analyzer" folder in there. Inside that folder, You will need to copy the DigitalFX folder inside that folder to your Winamp/plugins/AVS folder."
That was what was confusing me. I was hunting for a folder inside of the spectrum analyzer folder. Thanks again......
I was playing around with some features I have not tried yet today and had a few issues:
1. Traffic. I could get connected, but when I switced to the city I wanted, the PC would lock up while trying to download all of the data. Is this a hardware issue (I am using a M10000 MB) or is there some software setting that I am missing that will help it run smoother?
2. Weather. The maps (Temps, Sat, etc) are not updating. Even with an active internet connection, my maps are from 1 May 07 (earier versions of DigitalFX did not have this problem with the update). Also, when I view the temp map in particular, the PC locked up (the other maps did not lock up even thogh the data was old). Again, is this a hardware issue or is there some setting I am missing?
I was having lockup problems with traffic as well. I then upgraded to a Pentium P4 and a 256meg video card and have had no more issues.
#2 is a mystery. I've never had problems with weather.
I have been having trouble with the weather generally for the last couple of weeks. I suspect weather.com may have changed the way it works.
