Arggggg, new problem, and this is wierd.

Skin works perfectly, EXCEPT NOW, when I try and exit RR, the computer goes to 100 percent, and basically hangs. I can end it in task manager, and be fine, but anytime I exit it locks up. I have changed and tired other skins, and it will exit fine.

The only thing I can think of is I just updated/redownloaded a program called Videora Ipod Converter. Not sure if that is causing the problem, I will try and uninstall and see what happens.

OK, small update, and I am sure this is really wierd and unique,

All the other exit choices, shutdown, restart, hibernate, they all work. Only the actual EXIT choice causes 100 percent CPU usage.

This only started recently. Worked fine all last week. Didn't really do much, except for the aforemention program download and install. I uninstalled it, and still the problem occurs.

Wierd. I have a good working copy in the car, I might just copy and paste everything over, and see if that cures the problem.

This is definitely something I have never heard of before. The exit command is purely Road Runner, and no special code is executed when the DigitalFX skin is closed.

I know, it is WAY wierd. And it just started. But, it only happens with DFX, all other skins are fine. I thought it was a flash problem, but the skin works perfectly, except for the exit command. I tried your fixflash file, maybe I should uninstall and reinstall flash. Why I think it is a flash problem I am not sure. Just grasping at straws at this point.

Have any idea how I can perhaps trouble shoot this, watch what is causing the problem, anything.

Should I try a particualr roadrunner.exe? Have any suggestions/links to it.

    Thanks,
    Michael

It sounds like RR is trying to close an app and can't so hangs.

have a look at the apps and scripts that are run in DFX.

Hmmmm, well, I am not starting anything other than WinAmp, and actually, that doesn't seem to be shutting down when I try to exit RR. Shutting winamp down manually, and then RR, doesn't help either.

Once I attempt to exit, task manager shows that RR is using 90+% of the CPU resources. Even if I wait, it won't shut down.

I don't have RR/DFX starting anything. Even if I just start RR, and then immediately exit RR, it still happens.

    I am stumped.

Well, I finally figured it out.

SOMEHOW, the following lines were repeated in the exectbl.ini file,

    "QUIT","SendMsg;RRCDRip;showplugin||bye"
    "BYE","QUIT"

Removed them, BOOM, it works fine now.

Thanks everyone for the help, not sure how that happened, but at least I figured it out.

Picked 2 places and entered them into yahoo maps, and look
    http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&q2=Simi...4.204988&mag=8

They are 50 miles apart, yet, they have the same Lat and Lon in the file.

I wonder what can be done to improve that. Is SOCAL the only place that is affected by this? I am willing to donate to improve this.
