@Brewdog,

Make sure you're using the correct beta version of RoadRunner.exe. It should be about 2.4 meg. If your Roadrunner.exe is about 650k you're using the wrong one. If you have the correct version of RoadRunner.exe, try replacing your zips.dat file in the RoadRunner folder with the zips.dat that comes with the DigitalFX download. If that works, you know the issue is with the revised zips.dat that we've been talking about in the last couple of pages.

It couldn't hurt to upgrade to the latest version of flash. Make sure you download using Internet Explorer rather than Firefox or another browser.

ok, clueless question of the day...what is the purpose of this zips.dat file? What exactly can it be used for? Am I correct in assuming that this is a list of american locations only? Is there one for postal codes for Canada as well? I guess once I know what this file is used for I will consider downloading it and see if I need to make one for Canada.

my streets and trips screen is not working properly. when i press the touch screen button it changes to the terrain but will not get to political or night. it will not go back to road either. here is a copy of my streets and trips line for the view

I dont not have S&T here to test that with sorry. The button code does appear to be correct though. Just make sure that that button is the 17th button in order from top to bottom of the skin file. If for instance, it is the 1st button in the list, then you would need it to be SWITCHBUTTON;1>>

Here is a rar file that has all the states seperated into 'state.dat' files, from the file posted in post#1946(a couple of posts up).

All you have to do is open the states that you want only and copy/paste them into one zips.dat file(prob want to rename old zips.dat file first) and save.

Just trying to help...

I did this with an autoit script. Aside form the couple of pausing, it took it ~3.5hrs to complete. But didn't require any user actions.
