Sorry i was on vacation. I skimmed your email but honestly i dunno what you are referring to.. i guess i have some reading to do. There is now an extractor for zips.dat? I havent got the foggiest idea about C and dont understand why you would port the zips function to it. Is C faster at looking up the zips? I wish i could be of more help but i'm just not skilled enough lol.

I got a reply from guino and I am working on making this a DLL for him to call.

The problem I am attempting to fix is using the newer, larger, way more accurate zips.dat file is taking too long to do lookups under VB. So I ported it to C and it runs way faster (VB lookup over 75 seconds...C lookup less than 3 seconds). The newer zips file is now over 8MB...but is worth it!

First, just to let you know, when posting a ini file, its easier to read if you use the regular code instead of the php(erases all the '\').

Next, probably going to need some more detail other than "cant get it working", what isn't working? Does it not show, is it not shown correctly, ect...more details gets you a the answer that you need, quicker.
    RideRunner...The #1 FE, PERIOD.

Sorry about that. I dont post much

Well I downloaded the skin. Did the install. I added the lines of code it told me to add to my ini file and started my Road Runner and I could see where it had Digital FX BM loading and it looked regular and nothing changed. So went to skin browser and selected Digital FM 2.0 and all I get a thin line and nothing on the screen. The thin line is black and I can see where it says half of the word playlist but thats it. Its like something went wrong with the sizing or something but the other skin I have looks fine so not sure what I did wrong. Did a little searching and didnt see anyone with similar problems so I figured I was an idiot and may have jacked something up in the ini file.

Sounds like perhaps a flash issue. Execute the flash fix that was included in the download, and see if that works. This is just my guess, and may not be correct, but I don't think it will cause a problem.

The ini file appears to be OK from what I can tell. A couple of things...

Do you have Road Runner installed in:
    C:\Program Files\Road Runner\?

What version of RR is showing on the splash screen while the skin is loading? It may be an older version before the transparencies were supported.
Front End of Choice: Ride Runner (Is there anything else??? ) & Powered by the DFX5.1 Skin Available in the Mobile App Mart

yup thats where my road runner is installed.

Not sure what version of RR it is. I guess I can load a newer version of RR and see if it works?

I just found this a ways back in this thread, it may be of some help:

"Do one more thing before you re-download and re-install: make sure your shorcut to RR is pointing to the right roadrunner.exe.

I had renamed the old exe to roadrunnerbeforedfx.exe then copied the one from the destop to the RR folder but still got the black bar; for some reason i checked the shortcut and it was still using roadrunnerbeforedfx.exe

I moved the old file out of the rr directory and remapped the shortcut to use the new rr.exe and PUFF! all was well.."
Windows trys t be helpful, in that, if you rename a program that a shortcut points to, windows will change the pointer of the shortcut for you

Also when you load RR, in the bottom right of the splash screen, you will see the date of the Road Runner release that you are using.
