I had something similar occur with this latest round of upgrades. I never figured out why it was occurring, but I did figure out how to fix it.

Use taskmanager to shut down RR. Then open RRConfig outside of RR and redesignate DigitalFX as your skin (even though it's still showing as the skin in RRConfig). Reload RR. Let us know if that works.

Did you add the required lines to your RR.ini?

yea, i added the requuired lines from the file that was put oin my desktop when it was installed. i did try to route the skin manually in rr.ini and also in rrconfig with no change. i get the same results as above.

It is in fact installed in the default location which is c drive --> program files--> RR--> skins

John, blue and bump ill give your recommendations a shot.

ok i got it to work. needed the latest RR and RR config to get it working

however im having a new problem. It seems to be difficulty in changing albums etc. for some reason when i goto browse, i have my album folders shown but when i click to see a song in that folder, nothing is there. Also, all my songs are stored in 1 major "music" folder. within that folder i have thousands of songs that are not in a sub folder categorized etc and none of the songs are shown in the browse menu. when i try to select a folder (album) to add, i get an error script message. When i tried to do the locate a song by typing in some of the words this popped up

go into the config and go to music and select all of the music file types that you have or check your rr.ini music section and see if the 'audiofiles' contains something anything if not then that is the problem with not seeing any songs listed(just delete the setting all together). The lastest config did have have a fix for this, but something to check anyway.

As for as that error message, what WA version are you using. If its the 2.95 you can not use the lite version.

heres another error im getting.

it seems that when i hit add song it just moves down the folders as if i was pushing the 1 folder down button in the browse menu. also, if i do the play most played songs i get a script error.

i was using the one suggested by guino for some time now when i was using lsxvoid. I upgraded to the one that john said if u want the spectrum vis. i think its 5.13. i had the problem before i even went into 5.13 so i dont that is causing the issue.

ok, i got the songs playing now but still get shortcut error when i hit add album and i still have script problems.

One thing, my spectrum vis is not showing up on the player but it does show up on the main menu top portion.

How come there is no HONDA 3d spinning logo

If i'm not mistaken, on the player skin I should be able to go to the next vis. by appropriately pressing the left or right side of the album cover right? Well, my problem is mine doesn't do that and i am wondering what needs to be done to correct this. Winamp 5.13 & RR config file ver. 3.2.4.7.
